Who in the forward line makes way for Lynch do you think?

Jack
Lynch
Caddy
Butler
Castagna
Rioli

That will be our best 6 forward set up.

Although I think we need to look at Rioli in the midfield next year too. Likes of Edward's and Lambert need to be mids. Caddy and Rioli can swap into the midfield when mids need a rest

Rioli is not a midfielder. He needs space. One of the slightest built players in the comp. Maurice he is not!

With Conca and Graham we already have a couple of those

Doubt Conca will be with us next season. Better to use Castagna's tackling and pace in the centre rather than waiting for the ball in attack.

Just didn’t look sharp, lacking in confidence even. Where he would just turn and take a shot or lay off, he was hesitating.

Though that could have been the game plan because everyone bar Jack played like that

Was *smile* tonight.

With Lynch coming in not sure there's a spot for him in the 22.

Just way too slow to be a mid.

Concerned.

I thought Caddy was exposed a bit last night. But Mr Damien Hardwick was a bit too.

When Caddy was set to space early by Richmond it felt like a ploy. And when he was hunted down or heated or trapped it felt like Buckley was all over it.

It might just have been that Caddy was a bit lame and that the ball didn't go in right. But there was an element of the Pies being on our targets. A bit of Buckley having a win.

I've been a Caddy hater in my time but I've come right around to him when he plays tall. It was his running/leading game that was exposed tonight.

I'll be arguing over the next couple of months that we need to get faster. And maybe Caddy is one who needs to be replaced. But as a tall forward I think he's been good and continue to be.

The other factor that really hurt Caddy in the night, that exposed him, was the absence of Martin. Buckley knew Martin couldn't walk. And Caddy had to bat higher.

Jury out IMO.

But the need to get faster thing is very real.
