What is the rule regarding "front-on contact"? McIntosh got pinged for backing into a bloke.

McIntosh snuck a look at the Hawks player just before contact. He needed to keep his eyes on the ball.

That decision was a joke, would be paid 9/10.

Thankfully we goaled anyway. But it was clear interference in the marking contest.

Sacrificed his game to try to drag Sicily away from the play. Very unselfish game by Caddy.

Bit stiff to not get a couple of frees.

Perfect finals player. Tough and skillful, albeit slow as treacle

Sicily got dragged back deep at every chance 1 v 1. Made him defend and stopped the rebounding opportunities. And he looked utterly gassed by the third quarter. Back to Cadds, love him. Unique footballer, plays tall and presents to the ball carrier. And brings swag. Talks smack all day, looks to hurt you fairly and is one of those blokes you walk taller with. Geelong, lol.
Agree SCOOP. Old fashioned footballer who gets the job done.

Was lippy all night. I was siting at the PR End and before every centre square bounce he was right into Hardwick and Stratton.

Yes, but it's such a joke now that taking you eyes off the ball is what you're pinged for, not actually interfering.

I would argue KMac did nothing to prevent the Dawk from attacking the mark, had the drop on KM. Plain silly.

I bet

No idea what he's like off the field but on it - I reckon he is a prick of bloke.

But he's OUR prick! ;D

Is that actually a rule though? Ie you can’t look at the player if you make front on (or in this case back on) contact.

Pretty sure it isn’t.

Pretty sure it isn’t.

What does it matter if it's a rule or not? Pretty sure the rulebook has no mention of prior opportunity.

I expect christenson will try give caddy a week for his latvian leg lock?

Chanel 7 showed it live for about 30 seconds instea d of play

Reckon the umps think twice about giving free kicks to players that give lip, push and shove opponents after a goal, etc. but I loved his game. Bit of the old tiger aggression from 50 years ago, just hope he doesn't get himself reported.
Don't agree he's as "slow as treacle" he's just not as quick as many of the speedsters we have in our team.
