We traded pick 6 and 2017 second round for Prestia and pick 24

We traded pick 24 and 64 for Caddy and pick 56

After all the academy bids and passes pick 56 became pick 53 and we selected Jack Graham

So basically we gave up pick 6 + pick 64 + 2017 second round and picked up Prestia + Caddy + Graham

Probably better if you highlighted the 2017 2nd rounder as pick #37 ;)

Nearly underatted what this bloke did through the finals series, flew the flag time and time again, made sure his little team mates could walk tall, antagonised every opposition player he went near. Has that bit of *smile* about him that we’ve missed in recent years, Bloody good teammate to run out beside in a GF.

giving it to lever non stop in grand final... loved it and love him even though he can't kick for goal for *smile*

Love the way he sprayed the Adelaide defender (Kelly, I think), who let Jack's goal go through in the second quarter.

He has a swagger that we haven't had for a while and slotted in very well this year.

Pretty sure your right pokey. Agree he has a swagger to match the King

Personally, he needs a few more BOGs and kick straight to back up the lip. While i rate him and appreciate what he brings to the side in particular his physicality, for me his lip is a major turn-off.

The opposition know he hits hard, i like his swagger because he walks the walk.

I love Caddy , He has that real Campaigner about him that really is in the face of the opposition and it makes them uncomfortable and he plays on the edge

Jack's job has been made alot easier with Caddy coming into the side, Jack no longer has to be the only senior player that needs to push the other team around :hihi

Caddy is the new Daniel Jackson. Big hardbody mid that knows how to use his body to the advantage of his teammates.

And Towner is the new Jake King, no one will mess with Towner.

True but what gets me is King looked the part.
Townsend looks like the innocent boy-next-door type that any parent would love to see his daughter bring home for dinner.

Agree with this analogy as we had missed Jacksons role once he retired - think Caddy also plays the forward 50 space better

Anyone else notice that Caddy no longer looked slow by the end of the year?

Thing I love about Cads is he plays with a hint of FIGJAM.

Confidence is always welcome down at Punt Road.

Now he's premiership FIGJAM. The real stuff.

And lippy. Premiership sides have blokes who give lip. Caddy and George basically played as CHF for the back half of the year.

I didn’t think Caddy would be as much of a team player as he was, competed in the air manfully despite being undersized and made our midgets walk taller. How many blokes have played FF, CHF, Ruck, Ruck Rover and in the guts in a flag side? This bloke. No one else on our list could have done it. Great trade. Not often you get one over on Geelong. We did.

:rofl

I hadnt noticed, but now I realise I had forgotten that he seemed to be running on the spot (a kind of slo-mo effectiveness) until about June
