Josh Caddy

Just so hard at it. Love it when he just bursts through the pack and comes out the other side. A player that can really create something when given a half chance.

Think the goalposts have shifted at Geel regarding what they value. They used to have Max Rooke. Now they have Blicavs Murdoch and 3-4 other skinny runners not to mention El Squib Motlop.

Never understood why the Cats let him go for virtually nothing...unless it was pure salary cap mismanagement.

Yep.

It's an eternal truth that hard and tough players win finals.

It's pie in your face stuff. It's exactly the player Geelong needed last night, but he was in our colours

Like a lot on here, they may have thought he was slow and they had enough big bodied slow players.

Hard hits and contested ball is needed to utilize pace, Caddy and Prestia have been major factors in our team balance.

Didn't think he was as good as people are saying. Fumbly and kicking for goal a major issue. Miss's easy sets shots.

Disagree.

I think we under estimate his importance as a semi tall aggressive forward helping Jack.
IMO he's a key cog in the Tiger Machine.
Without him we may have to play an underdone Griff or the Hampsta.

No doubt he pulled out all stops to play 'hard at it' aggressive footy... At Geelong, his midfield opportunities had dropped when Danger arrived in 2016... made his point I think!

I've really enjoyed what he's brought to the table for the majority of the year. Adds a dimension we were lacking in previous years. Different type of players I know but think of Josh vs Tyrone in the forward line. Along with our smalls that's a huge difference in style and attitude.

Gave us Blake Caracella for nothing as well. Scott probably felt threatened by him. IN YOUR FACE GEELONG

Really? 2 goals, shoulda been 3 (poster), 9 contested possessions, 4 clearances, 2 intercept marks, 4 marks inside 50. Was pivotal playing mostly forward and pinch hitting in the middle. Very valuable player.

Yep. Great game. You could he loved beating his old side too.

Just watched a replay and gee he was good, particularly in the first half.Does Zips actually watch games?

Nah, Zips loves to bag all and anyone in yellow and black. For me Caddy has made a real difference to the Tigers this year. Not all about possessions but uses his body well and teammate support all around the ground
