Phil Egan was as good as told JON is toast....

Well written by Jay Clarke... Sounds like we'll see a few changes to the list after all!

Phil talking sh!te re. JON's potential and that he hasn't been given a chance out of defence. Has only played forward this year if I recall.

Not his fault that someone thought that because he mowed a good lawn thought he would be a champ.

We have to get heaps of things right off the ground before it comes to fruition on it.

Jon's first 3 years he played out of defence and was so diabolical that they moved him to hff to try and reinvent him. Maybe, as mentor, Phil Egan should have gone to watch him play at Coburg each week, instead of making uninformed comments like these.

He is a panic merchant, terrible disposal and decision making. If some other club can turn this around, I'll eat my hat.

i though his only prospect of making it was close to goal...out in the open he is exposed for his indecisiveness...he may be rookied elsewhere but not primary list I wouldnt think

JON has never impressed me as a footballer - let alone a kid that we gave up our first round pick for. Move on at end of year.

He hasn't had much of a chance at the top level in comparison to some others, but surely four years is long enough for those at the club to make a decision on his prospects.

Gold Coast will have picks to burn, maybe they'll take a chance on him.

Under the league rules we have to delist players at years end might make a nice change if we actually delist some players who are not going anywhere and whether we like it or not JON fits that catergory.

I heard Phil Egan commentating on the National Indigenous Radio Service a few weeks ago and he sounded like he had quite a good knowledge of the game but after reading this article on JON he hasn't even got his facts right. If we delist JON it's because he isn't good enough - simple as that.

Would mean we would have to hold on to him for 2010. No thanks.

i reckon the lawnmower man is a late bloomer and will improve but the problem is that he is bloody awful

Should have been gone last year and the year before... shouldn't have been picked!
