I hear when they re-developed Punt Road they made the doorways slightly larger. Daniher's big head is welcome down at Punt Road any time.

2 clubs would not make such an agreement like that.

If you where Gubby Allen what would you do, nominate Viney and move down one spot in the draft order or dont nominate Viney and have pick 3 in the ND???

Pretty easy list management decision if you ask me.

GCS need to be satisfied in a deal as well. Either by gaining MD1 or thru a seperate deal with MFC.

i think GWS / GC etc and certainly the doggies (as they need another power forward) will nominate for Daniher, viney on the other hand? - he would be a get at pick 9 I would have thought as Viney may not be seen as a top 5. Think anyone should be able to nominate a player in each round, not just those placed before the team with the father son.

there’s nothing stopping Melb making an agreement with GWS before trade week

Melb and GWS can agree before F/S and trade week to do the deal. Clubs do talk about deals before actual trade week.

F/S bids - GWS pass

Trade week - Melb trade pick 3 to GWS for mini draft pick as already agreed.

The clincher will be if GC deal pick 2 to GWS for mini draft pick 1.
