The stats might say we got beaten at clearances but it didn't feel that way. Unlike the Port and Freo games

It's the first touch at a stoppage regardless where it ends up.
Your right when freo got clearances they were moving, but with Geelong's we shut down the player as soon as they gain possession.
Hardwick even said there's clearance's and then there's pure clearance's. We mangled Geelong at the contest.
There a few stats they need to bin, the first one is hit outs, waste of numbers. Hitout to advantage HTA.
And then with clearance's. It should be replaced with Clearance to advantage, CTA.

And Nank played a terrific game.........Yet we are still getting pantsed at ball ups. Has to stop.

It does seem like it should be an issue. This year we are 2nd last for clearances compared to opposition. Last year we were 3rd last and in 2018 we were last. It's our game plan, give up the initial clearance for the rebound. Opposition still can't work it out.
