North all over it like a rash.

Who wants to play for North?
Do they have more than 10,000 members? :p
Jack if you want to play for a real side you should play for us.

I didn't see the Crows game but the knock on him for that day was that his 5 goals were soft easy ones. Anyone who saw him that day to offer their opinion?

Crows are apparently livid and are threatening to play hard ball with him if they don't get a suitable trade. Now I may be wrong here and I'm sure a more astute observer of the trading rules will set me straight but on the news tonight they were saying if they don't get a suitable trade for him they are threatening to redraft him?? and than try again. Sounds a bit odd but that is basically what I heard. i would like to take him just to annoy the grovelling mongrels as a square up for Kingy.
Sounds like a fairly poisoned place with all the departures recently. Not the oasis of professionalism anymore IZO.

Apparently he didn't want to attend the awards for fears of being pressured by team mates into staying.

Sounds like a kid of very poor character. Was going to be given the Mark Bickley award at their B+F but informed the club he was going back to Victoria at 2pm and wouldn't be attending.

Not a huge wrap for Gunston. Under sized full forward. Very much a lead and mark forward, not sure if he has a ground game.

With Vickery & Riewoldt playing that role I am not sure Gunston is needed.

Agree SCOOP.

We have much more pressing needs at our club at the moment and Gunston wouldn't come cheap.

Would trade any pick outside th first 2 rounds or Shane Edwards for him but that's about it. Is worth more than that but we really do need to hone in on a ruck first and foremost.

I don't even think I'd give up Edwards for him

I like Gunston. if we thought Edwards' kicking was still going to be a liability moving forward then it would be a worthwhile trade.

Right size and type player for us. Maybe give them back the pick they gave us for Tambling. May not be enough though.

they may just offer us Tambling back... :rofl

You're right Tigertim - they were very soft goals & if it wasn't for that match alot of people would be saying 'Jack Who?'.

Not sold on him yet.

Has taken clutch marks/kicked clutch goals on other occasions. Can honestly play the lad.

Is Gunston more a Le Cras type forward ?

No. Doesn’t have the same bag of ricks nor the skill of Le Cras. Of my limited viewing of Gunston, he reminds me of a better Aaron Edwards.

Yep this is how I see him as well.

If all it took was Edwards where do I sign. Would add an extra dimension to the forward line. Great hands, great kick.
