Jack Dyer medal top 5 - Half way point

1. Jackson
2. Tuck
3. Foley
4. Tambling
5. Lids
6. Morton
7. Bowden
8. Newman
9. Polo
10. McGuane
11. Collins

So I made it Top 11, sue me.

Lot of work to be done on our list, but I had to make it a Top 11 as one of the great things about this list is former fringe or raw/young players really stepping up.

Collins has had a super input to the side considering where he has come from, the fact he only played 9 games compared to some who played closer or on 12 hurt him. Some don't realise he has more possessions than any Rising Star this year, Rich included. While stats don't mean a lot, that is impressive. He tackles too, which is why I really like him.

Lids has just kept his place in our best top tier for mine, been a little dissapointing but I think he just needs the right coaching.

Bowden has been dealth with harshly this year from a form perspective but for the greater good of the list it must be done, sad for such a champion of the club.

Newman continues to not get respect and while putting in some awful games he has put in many very solid games and played with more heart and passion than most in a bleak year.

Polo has been heartening for me as I've always been a fan, I hope he can go up another notch next year.

McGuane gets a mentioning as our best key defender to date this year, been dissapointed by his lack of tackling though for a player loved for his mongrel.

Your list hurts my eyes DD.

But your about on the money.

Hopefully Cousins and Cotchin pretty up that list in the second half of the year.

Amen! Wouldn't mind a little spike from Nahas either, big fan and already averaging a goal a game if he could just get a little more of it and kick another goal a game he would be push into my Top 10 heh heh

The interesting thing there DD is that at the end of 2008 many were saying we had no future because the top 10 in the B&F was nearly full of players over 30!

Meh, I am a fan of Nahas but a first year rookie in your top 10, then you know the club has problems.

Cousins will barnstorm the top 5 in the second half of the season barring injuries of course. ;)

Testify! Brother!

We were always going to have a year like this (Top 10 wise) though with the way the ages on our list went and the limited talent on our list, and next year will be much of the same however i'm hoping to have a much more positive and confidence inspiring list at the end of next year Top 10 wise. ;)

You can't halt evolution.

It's just that sometimes it really hurts and is TOO gradual. :hihi

According to all those on PRE:
1.Jackson
2.Deledio
3. Tambling
4.Richo
5.Foley
According to Tim:
1.Jackson
2.Tambling
3.Tuck
4.Mcguane
5.Newman/Deledio

If Jackson didnt play another game from here on end he will stiill walk away at the end of the season with the Jack Dyer medal.

Another fantastic effort tonight. Had the better of Montagna tonight.

Top 10 at the moment would be Jackson, Tuck, Foley, Tambling, Mcguane, Deledio, Polo. Morton, Nahas and Cousins, just ahead of Bowden.

After watching that game tonight Ramanaskas bagged one bloke in particular on the ABC - Jackson! Cos ghe wanted to fight..apparently

Deledio is coming home strongly. Might just end up getting the Jack Dyer medal back to back.

He'll win it. He's the only one that goes anywhere near deserving it as well.

hes getting close I reckon

tambling and jackson have lost this now I reckon.

Deledio is now sprinting away, Bling holding on for second, Jackson slipping by the miss kick....and there's a lot of them.
