editing team must be going nuts piecing together all the incidents that where either not punished or let off. I thought he would be sited for the initial "bump" not the "push off" as I saw it live at the G. There was no malice from Soldo and hawks player when out of his way to get in his face. If he genuinely "hit" him I would not be here defending him. Its a joke.
More so a joke when Mumford broke ribs for not playing the ball. Some are calling it a hard football act, B S%$it . he lined him up and used his 110kg frame to tackle him, the ball was not even on his mind. Real tough Mummy !!!

The annoyance of the club is clear, with the announcement of an appeal on the Monday night and Leppitsch's "Chook Lotto" comment today.
Just saw the incident. Cannot believe that this would get even cited. He jumps in the guy's path, the arm was clearly purely defensive and aimed at the chest (did it even hit him above the shoulder??) and #5 goes down like a sack of spuds to try to milk a free.

I am not confident because the panel won’t admit errors and have to make up for the Ablett and Fyfe letoffs by regaining some public tough love.

The Mumford one was a joke. Christian says he was trying to put pressure on and because Kelly sandwiched Murphy into him his actions weren't unreasonable. That's actually an ok point until about a second or so from contact, if he'd fallen across his back etc I'd have no issues, but if you watch Mumfords right leg just before impact (and follow his eyes, never once looked at the ball), he clearly decides to drive his right leg into Murphys chest. Completely avoidable and far from reasonable IMO. The fact he has let this off seems to suggest this year is free reign with any hits to the body and free reign if you are a Brownlow medallist regardless of what you do (unless your name is Dustin Martin).
