What's QED???

"So it is proved". Or in long hand....

Q.E.D. is an initialism of the Latin phrase quod erat demonstrandum, originating from the Greek analogous hóper édei deîxai (ὅπερ ἔδει δεῖξαι), meaning "which had to be demonstrated". The phrase is traditionally placed in its abbreviated form at the end of a mathematical proof or philosophical argument when what was specified in the enunciation — and in the setting-out—has been exactly restated as the conclusion of the demonstration.[1] The abbreviation thus signals the completion of the proof.

Didn't make much difference we have many passengers in the team the turn up each week and don't perform
Let him play as we are devoid of any better options

Should never have played.

Was shown to be underdone. Showed desperation .

While he gave it his best, he really played like he needed a couple more weeks at VFL

problem in not playing him for another couple of weeks in the twos is that we cant send him back down as it will only make the coaching panel look more stupid than they already are

Our best bet now but not the answer for our long term. Slow at best. Holes in our list everywhere. Shocking, shocking recruiting coming back to haunt us. Lon, long way off the pace.

I would have preferred he had one or more weeks in the VFL. He hadn't played an AFL game since the final last year and that's pretty much what he looked like.

Ivan's a funny one. All the things I bag Vickery for not doing, Ivan does. As best he can.

I've posted elsewhere that Vickery is a man of low football character (football, not personal) and that Madonna probably deserved to be dropped despite being one of the few Richmond players on the park to break a line and take the game on.

In our final against Carlton in 2013 Ivan was slaughtered after half time. By Robert Warnock. Todd Goldstein is a much better ruck than Warnock. But what Goldstein did to Ivan after half time on the weekend was strikingly similar.

Yeah, Ivan was crippled (thanks Dimma) when he played on Warnock. And was second up for a year when he tired, and was dee-stroyed by Goldstein after half time.

Athletically Ivan has looked pretty free since his return. Rusty for form but free for jump and run. But he has tired - fair enough.

He knows that he bled like a stuck pig after half time. It would be very harsh to blame him, second up for a year, for the CB massacre. For Goldstein's total domination.

But Ivan went to face the media. Sure, he was sent. He mentioned early that he is one of the shortest rucks in the league. I thought that odd.

Ivan's football integrity is unquestioned. He does appear to be moving freely again. I hope he's coming back.

When did we "make/produce" our own ruck man?. like bellchambers, Goldstein.etc
These ruckman that we bring in, at best will have one good year and the rest just average.
What's that's the difference between Maric & Simmonds? Bugger all
We had the prefect chance to snag one and we went for a bloke that was "delist" material at his club.

Ivan has been showing show better form in recent weeks albeit against inferior ruck men.
Still not moving near as well as 2 seasons back. Not sure he'll ever get back to those levels.

After being jumped over early by NikNat I thought Ivan ground him down over the game to come out on top.
Very smart body work to play in front from Maric.
Thought he was huge. He and Miles have added real backbone to the midfield.

Agree, but no doubt the weather helped the big man.

Have a feeling things may have got ugly for the tiges in the ruck if the rain held off.

Disclaimer: Of course TV may have decided at any time to knock out one/all of the Wet Cloak ruckman......

He was beaten at the taps, but big around the ground when and where he needed to be. I love his post game interviews. How he answers everything in that low calm voice, he's actually scary. Make a great Bond villain.
