End the farce.

He needs to come back into the side.

Like I said in the Bernie thread, he provides experience and leadership. Another big man to help out Jack and Nank.

Forget about Chol or Soldo.

We need a seasoned campaigner over the next few weeks. Some would say its the hardest part of the year especially for the young blokes. I can only imagine how Nanks body is copping.

Agree, but how quick can he be nowadays?

Can't disagree. Jack plays CHF and Maric has 1-2 mozzies near him for most of the game

The only farce is he is still on the senior list.

Was finished 2 years ago. His last game against Port last year he had 2 disposals from 73% game time.

Spot on.

Another horrible list management decision.

We are thin as in the tall department & still can't get a game. The spot on the list should have been used on a tall in the draft or free agency.

I was gobsmacked he got a contract extension.

Kreuzer and Ryder (opposition ruckmen over the next 2 weeks) would destroy Maric.

Can't jump and way too slow so not suitable for ruck or up forward.

Better going in with one ruckman rather than Maric imo.

Should never had been given a contract extension.

agree. They thought we could Hudson him. I don't reckon you could Hudson Hudson these days.

Maric seems cooked and shouldn't have received a contract but given he is on the list could he play at full forward with Riewoldt up at CHF, Maric could do all the forward half rucking which to me makes sense so Riewoldt can play as our marking player rather than ruck, we know he cant compete anymore with the kreuzers in the centre but if we play him forward only or very short bursts in the centre when opposition second ruck in play maybe could work short term ?

Good idea this one and if he stayed around the ff area when everyone is up the ground he could cause some damage.

Put aside his contract extension here. I am not arguing that. We desperately need another tall in the side. No where have I suggested he go up as our number 1 ruck. All I am saying is we need someone to provide that chop out Jack and more so Nank need.

We had Grigg in the ruck FFS. He wasn't even contesting. It was a joke. A ploy I would not even contemplate in my under 12's team. You are worried about what would happen to Maric against Kruezer and Ryder. I can't even bare to think what it would look like with Grigg in there.

We have Maric. So let's use him.

Still getting paid to be on a AFL list :rofl only at Richmond. Was finished after the port final 3 years ago.
His spot could've been filled by a kid in the VFL
The list mangerment is a disgrace

Was a really bad decision and not just in hindsight. Waste of a spot.

Sounds great but can't do it these days. His man will take off at every opportunity and they wil use the extra man all the way down the ground

That's the thing, we all knew we were light on even with a fit Griffiths for key position players during the trade/free agency & draft periods. It's just now that it's showing that the media have jumped on board etc. In such a tight open season it is going to hurt us more than even we anticipated

Maybe if we were coached by Capt. Sully we could have a crack at dropping in a Hudson.
