Is McMahon the worst tackler in the history of football??

Yeah he is rubbish at both tackling and blocking, but at least he has a go, even if he goes down like a little girl each time. I can't think of two other players who tried to put on a block for one of our blokes on Saturday night. The whole team's physical pressure is attrocious Jordie is just being made a scapegoat (he does make a very good one although I'll agree)

I've always thought that McMahon's physical (and I use the word loosely) size is an indicator of his mental approach to this game and our football club. He's over 25 years old has zero muscle mass and probably weighs the same as a semi overweight 5 year old girl. He has been in the system for 8 years and yes I realise that some players and people in general find it very hard to put on weight ala Farren Ray, Stephen Hill, even our own Lukey Muscles Mcguane. But after 5-7 years of working hard these players eventually 'catch up' to a reasonable level in size (ie McGuane again) to be able to ride the bumps and lay the tackles. McMahon has nothing to show for his work as I believe he would do the absolute bare minimum to appease the coaching staff, we need to pay this guy out of his contract and let him go.

Fans have fundrasiers to get rookies to their clubs and even the dogs are going to throw an aka appeal to pay for the extra money needed to keep him next year, I say we should throw a 'Fire Jordie and pay out his contract' fundraiser. This guy is the weakest, softest player to put on a Richmond guernsey in 100 years.

I think this is about spot on. Are we expected to think that Jordan McMahon does everything possible to get his body strong? Does he eat correctly? does he utilize supplements? does he work hard in the weightroom?
By looking at his body, I would say that he puts in minimum time on that side of his game and it is going to be what ends his career early. You can't hide a non-physical 26 year old in a back-line filled with kids.
On top of his insipid tackling and defensive work, his one supposed strength, his field kicking has also been terrible.
Adios Mexican

What I found amusing with mcmahon and tacklingis that on quite a few occassions, when the opposition is going forward and he is 'blocking' the path, he attempts to corral, what the commentators refer to, and doesn't try to cut off the handball, kick or forward movement of the opposition. Only when the opposition player has got rid of the ball, he runs into the player to bump him, why, I don't know. The amusing thing is that 9 times out of 10, he bounces of the player, and doesn't impede movement.
what I find amazing that is that jade the so called blade found this acceptable. clean out required
