Injury Report - Season 2023

I read Meehan’s report with that thought.

Norf guy with a bit of inside knowledge told me Tarrant’s back and hip were cooked when we got him.

Reckon Tarrant’s done real well to get this far with us.
He didn’t have much left when he arrived so your information may be right, but it is equally hard to believe he came without being thoroughly checked out.

I feel sorry for Soldo. It would’ve been his chance to shine. At his best he’s a better tap ruckman then Nank and it would have given a different centre set up to the one that’s not working now.

I have it on good authority retirement is imminent.

Would seem likely. Its unfortunate as he was good for us last year but having a hip injury, coming back for a half then the very next week you barely make 5 mins before the hip again. The prognosis in the injury report suggests what you say. Last year of his contract, nearly 34 and listed as indefinite.

Better get Clarke out looking for those MSD beauties again. We've done well with them so far, Pickett, Parker was serviceable and Bauer has promise.

Another tall prospect and a small forward would probably be perfect for us. Anyone know if there is anyone like that around??

Fox Footy podcast reported Jayden Short calf looking "indefinite", horrible.

No they didn't, it was pure speculation on their part. The relevant quote is that "it's got a bit of an indefinite feel about it, but we'll wait and see what they say", they being Richmond presumably. Probably recorded before the injury report released yesterday arvo that has said he should miss this game and be looking likely for Melbourne.

Massive *smile* up if true.

You never rush a calf injury.

When you think you're good to go you take another week off and then re asses, then if your not 100% you give it an extra week.

@The Big Richo would know the saying associated with soft tissue injuries especially calves.
