If Lynch is suspended...

West Coast will try to keep it off the deck with precision disposal , not exactly rocket science they like it neat and tidy , there were moments GWS made them uncomfortable when it got chaotic ,

Still think our best footy over the last 3 years beats them , and there were reasons to be optimistic it was returning against Brisbane , then it went south again ,

Frustrating

Regardless, it will be tough for us to make top 4. We'll have to win every game and are currently playing like dog *smile*.

notice we play like dog faeces against faecal sides that dont think they can beat us?

against sides that believe and try to beat us, we play well (we outplayed GWS, Lions, and we went close to port undermanned in Adelaide, the toughest assignment in footy these days)

the sides we've looked dreadful against; Sydney, bombers, suns all employed Buckleys 'how to lose to Richmond by under 3 goals' model.

We will beat WC, then Cats, and finish at least top 4.

then we will win the Gabba Flag.

Our record against the top 8 teams is 2-2-1. The Giants are probably the best team outside the 8 & we lost to them too. Our form against quality has not been sensational either.

Our form against quality or low quality has got me quite negative, but then I veer to that side as much as Ezy is the eternal optimist, and others.
Not sure we have played a great game all year. Virtually convinced we will get belted by either WCE or the Moggies.
However, their form this round gave me a modicum of hope; both struggled against average to really poor 2020 teams. That's going on the scoreboard and narrow margins in early parts of Q4. (Didn't watch either game thinking walkover results).
Possibly both teams took it easy and just coasted to safe wins without heavy lifting though. It's difficult to know.

But, we have a much greater chance at the Qld G or Metricon.

That game was also at Giants ground and our recent record there is really ordinary. Lost to them there in both of our Premiership years.

And according to the commentators ( i havent watched them much ) they played really well against us compared to their other games

If u want to win the flag this year, that excuse dont fly. We will be playing all our games on the road. Our record in adl & perth aint that good either. Its why this season is the greatest back to back challenge, ever. To Win the cup we will need to play 20 away games in a row

How many of those do you think we’ll play at the Giants ground?

The big difference was they had a fit and firing Toby Greene for our game, he got injured the game after (in the 1st quarter I think). They are a completely different team with a fit and firing Greene in the forward line. They've been awful in pretty much every game since.

The eagles nearly got beat at home last night - to the soft giants.

McGovern saved them.

They will sook it up again playing at metricon. They have a soft underbelly.

Just need Nank and Soldo to double team nitnat and stop mcgovern from taking 100 uncontested marks.

We have been give a huge leg up here not having to play them in Perth in front of their rabid fans on their home deck in comfort.

We have them off a short break travelling to GC from Perth and , we have them COLD at Metricon.

They have'nt had a game at Metricon last week so they will need to get used to it again.

This is the biggest and best gift the AFL has afforded us this season.

We MUST take advantage of it this is the most important game of our season make no mistake this is for the top 4.

If we beat the Eagles this week we our chances of winning the flag go up exponentially.

Either we broke them last year or they haven't coped with the new normal, maybe both. They won't make finals.
