Sounded very promising. I just like the fact he was SO excited to have the job. He wants to be a winner.

Interesting how the appointment of an assistant coach a couple of weeks ago was televised but todays appointment of a senior coach was deemed not worthy. 8)

I think one advantage he had over Hinkley is that he did his homework on us for the 2005 job so he saw another (failed) 5 years of us and is even more aware of how to fix us.

Like mb said there was no spin, this wasn't some slick rehearsed thing, it was simply open and honest communication. This should put the fears about how he is as a communicator to rest.

Yep was a fairly good presser. Interesting to say that this being his first day would be the worst day of his coaching career as he will get better each day with the experience. Sounds pretty enthusiastic. Now the real hard work begins though.
