Afraid winning any flag anytime, anyhow, anywhere is an outstanding effort, Willo. Success isn't gifted to anyone, no matter how good.

See Melbourne 2022, Richmond 2018, Geelong 2008, Essendon 1999 and so on.
Crows 2017....

Highlights - - I can’t remember seeing any tbh
It was pretty flat. The commentators tried hard, but couldn’t really create any excitement. Maybe it was the same in 2019, and because it was us doing a demolition job on GWS I didn’t really care how neutrals felt.

Catters had 10 players over 30 on the field & two as emergencies . Those 10 on the field their boiler house They struck it lucky this final campaign. Fell in against Pies & somehow never came up against Dees & Tigers. Anyway it took them ten years as a gun side to achieve the ultimate & that is something we cannot deny them.
Yeah but you have to ask yourself - is that a success or failure? One in 10 as a gun side?

Only consolation is that the core of their group is gone in next year or two.
Finally jagged one.
But let's be honest, it will not be sustained success.
Hats off to them but it's an anomaly.

Lets hope so but they'll be there abouts again next year at the very least. I thought they were gone last year.

You can talk a lot about strategies, systems and the like.

Sometimes football is a very simple game.

Geelong had numbers at every contest and around every contest. Geelong had an outlet all the time. They dominated contested possessions.

Can't stand a fair number of their players, but best team going around this year, deserving premiers.

The easiest GF to pick a winner and margin.
Longmire :rotfl1 :rotfl1 :rotfl1 :rotfl1
The lizard :rotfl1:rotfl1
Heeney *smile* last week unbelievably bad this week.
Franklin. Time to retire. Screaming at umpires for free kicks isn't the answer.
Mills Warner Rowbottom Gyden all quality kids.
The McCartin brothers no good.
Hickley showed why he is at his 4th club.
Absolutely useless.
95% of the Sydney supporters at the game yesterday will wake up today and forget they were even at the game. All Sydney NRL GF next week.
Very similiar to the Brisbane supporters.

I did notice after the game
NO mention of back 2 back or Dynasty
4 mins after Melbourne won it last year that's all we heard.
It's soo fken hard to go back to back.
Only really good teams can do it

McCartin brothers they shouldve knocked each other out both useless 1,/10
Hickey 0 useless delist material again
Franklin 1/10 nice hair how can we say he is a champion of the game when he has not preformed in 4 GFs.
Blakey Heeney Parker Hero's against inferior sides tottaly invisible yesterday 0/10.
Rowbottom Gyden Fox Warner tried and put in 100% (we need to offer Rowbottom 7yrs 750k) 5/10
Stephens Heywood Florent Clarke shouldve all stayed home
Longmire 1/10 absolutely hopless, his only trick move Mills behind the ball, it works in round 8 not in a GF. Still a coach that struggles with the open free running game

The Geelong Terminator Elbows were out and sharp from the start yesterday 4/10
Hawkins Selwood Dangerflop all lifted because there's no coming back from another loss 7-10
Cameron and Rohan should just be happy they won. Rohan useless again and Cameron played like Cameron 2019.
Duncan is such a cat only noticed him when Geelong got to 40 up 2/10
Gurthie Atkins Bews Colojazzni 5/10 no one cares
Henry and The Viking mobile and the can hold there marks 8/10
Stanley just proves being a dud for so long you can still reach the top of the mountain. Dropped his usual 2 or 3 basic marks 2/10.
Smith tried to play an individual game in a team sport. I hope the Geelong supporters are happy a hawthorn player was there best player and a Richmond reject there 2nd best.
Scott 8/10 absolutely destroyed longmire. Looking back at it that's not hard to do.
What an ordinary game. He should give his medal to the recruiting guy.
Poor Collingwood only if super coach didn't out do himself playing Maynard on Franklin they couldve been playing Geelong.
Scott was the best coach this year by the stretch of the flemington straight.
He rested his senior players, he made Dangerflop do a preseason mid year, he didn't play anyone not 100% fit & he changed his game style and they still finished on top, while we were getting bullshiited too that we had the best preseason, we were fresh and ready to go, we didn't wake up till round 16.
