Grand Final 2020 Thread Richmond Vs Geelong / Game Day Thread

Should we win and knowing we have a 25km travel for essential travel only

Are we allowed to jump in the car and travel to Richmond, scarf out of the car window, RFC theme song blaring and travel to Maccas Richmond drive through for some "food" :). Would that be legal :p hahaha.

Want the food to be hot, so order chips. Finish that, drive around RFC theme song blarring, then line up again for a burger, drive around, order a drink, drive around then chips again & so forth hahaha
It’s most definitely legal........if any doubt, just tell the cops you are driving to your place of exercise, getting food, and then exercising again.......the RFC theme song is what you exercise to......
Just wear your mask, social distance, all is good...

I’d be doing the same thing but I won’t be able to drive by then .....I’d get past the Covid protocol test, but reckon the dozen cans and the multiple scotch and cokes during the game may tip breatho into overdrive....

I've had 2 strokes in the past two years so I know I need to avoid stress.... This has been a hard week in that regard. The wait is excruciating!
JK look after yourself.
Let’s hope my prediction for a close game doesn’t eventuate for either of our ‘hearts’, yours more so.

The longer wait of a night grand final will be a factor.

The team better able to cope with the nerves during the day should have more energy later. You don’t want to be spent by the first bounce.

Love all the positivity on this thread and the 'nervous nelly' comments. I believe we will win if we bring our best, most aggressive game which has unsettled the cats the last 4 times we have played them. BUT...let's not forget how Brissy beat us. Yes we were without Tom Lynch, but they were in our face all night, tackling fast and strongly whenever we tried to break from packs and when trying to overlap through the middle with handball chains. So, if the cats borrow that playbook we could be in trouble but I'm not sure they have enough pace to play the same way. I think we have more guys who are fierce competitors and just refuse to lose. Go tiges.

That was a good wakeup call that game and hopefully we learned from it best could have happen. As you say bring our best we win.

Humidity crazy. 88%.
Our biggest worry for mine. A slog counts against us.
Not to mention sitting at docklands watching them shellack us by 150+
Geelong supporters were naturally quite chatty and I found myself engaged in conversation for the second half, which took the edge off.

No Tigers left from that game, and eight finished up at other clubs. Ablett/Selwood/Hawkins all played. One of those moments that emphasises how far the club has come.

Shane Tuck kicked two goals... if we win, it would be good if we acknowledged him.

Pregaming at the Pineapple with Mrs Tbar and Tbar Jnr. It’s wet and muggy, perfect conditions for a Tiger victory.
