Gee Bermuda grass sucks. Watching the golf from Doral, I was looking at it and thinking that whole course sucks in fact. I hate those flat, park land looking courses with bermuda grass everywhere.

Couch fairways and bentgrass greens. Only way to go baby ! (You can tell I'm a sandbelt person !)

Seriously though, bentgrass greens are pure when they're in good nick. Nothing's better to putt on than high quality bentgrass.

All this rain is wonderful, gunna be great when the surface water clears.

Can you golfing experts advise on Davis Love III's recent form.

Yeah , seems to have completely lost all form whatsoever and doesn't look likely to ever regain his lofty ranking.

Golf's a little weird like that , player's seem to lose their Game literally overnight , it seems.

Curtis Strange and mark O'Meara are 2 that come to mind ..........................both had 2 incredible years in a row or thereabouts and then completely fell away.

Ofcourse , Nobody's Fall from Grace could equal David Duval's ....................that one's a complete mystery.

I'll see what I can find out about Love , if I remember correctly , injury may have been playing a big part in his recent form.

What's the saying? "Golf is 90 per cent mental and 10 per cent mental." Therein lies your answer, methinks, to the career's of Strange, O'Meara, Duval, Baker-Finch etc etc.

D'oh ................How could I forget to include IBF in that group !!!!

good pick-up Scotty.

I had the Good fortune to play a bit with Finchy a couple of years back down at the Bear's Club in West Palm beach.

The Guy hit it great all day and can still Putt the dimples off a ball.........................just makes you wonder , why can't he do it under Tourney conditions ????

Gotta be a Mental thing , 'cause the Guy still has plenty of Game that I seen.

By the way , he is one of the most "Down-to Earth" Blokes you'd ever meet , always has a word and never comes off as anything but totally approachable.
He is great on the telecasts in the States , very knowledgable , without going over the Top and has a excellent rapport with all the current player's.

Excellent commentator ,apparently when IBF was still on tour he would neally always win the money in the praccy rounds but just had this massive mental block come game day.

Hey JB , just found this article on the PGAtour site about Davis Love......................might help throw some light on your question.

Pfffft. I wouldn't bother trying to throw any light on anything for JB03 Frosty Fruits. He's the Ray Charles of PRE where that's concerned.
