Had to laugh. In the 2nd round of the PGA at Wentworth one of the commentators said about WUG’s theatrics: “And I thought I was the unluckiest golfer in the world.” Hah hah hah.

Same commentator then had a crack at him in the 3rd round when he said he goes overboard and needs to control himself better. John Rahm looked annoyed playing with him and his incessant moaning about every bad shot or missed putt. He was off the charts in the 3rd round.

Never hits a bad shot the WUG. Never.

He appeared to be trying hard to control it at times but it can't help coming out. He hit an approach on about the 15th and it hung up on the fringe (it wasn't where he was actually aiming but that is irrelevant hey?) and he kept gesturing that he couldn't believe it didn't roill down to the pin. He was astonished. Like it had defied the laws of physics to thwart him.

Good to see the Eurpoean's in the Ryder cup team do well though. Let's hope they smash them.

Strange stuff from Luke Donald. Few queries on his team. Then he asks for the foursomes to be the first event in the morning. Then he pairs Rahm and Hatton.

Rahm got a bit frustrated with Hatton’s antics at the BMW. Not sure how that pairing will go. Hatton and Fleetwood have a good record together.

Strange.

Geez he’s thrown young debutante Aberg straight into the foursomes format as well. The hardest, most pressure format of the three. Should have started in the four balls, not foursomes.

*smile* I hope Donald has got this right.

So far so good.

Great start by the Europeans.

There is a lot of pretty ordinary putting going on out there this morning.
