The BO always a tough one to watch with the time diff. Does one got to sleep early and get up at 2 or 3? Or just tape it and not know the result? Or pull an all-nighter?

Glad to see young Finn Sami Valimaki recover from being 7 over at one stage in his first round.

Conditions a little tougher this last day, reckon the field avge might be a little higher.

Hope someone takes a run at Harman at some stage

Never seen so many missed fairways and greens. Both are huge. Poor.
Did you see J Day's drive on one yesterday? A beautiful cover drive for fore, his 2nd on 5 was much better. I was surprised that he had such a good round. His short game is still very good, up there with Smith, that's what saved him.

I’ve lost count off how many drives I’ve seen miss the fairway off the 1st. I’ve seen them on the 18th and 2nd fairways they’ve been that wide. All over the place. Incredible.

Hah hah hah… how bad are British Summers sometimes. Beanies and heavy jackets and gloves last week. Beanies and full wet weathers this week.

Depressing weather for a summer, but I'd take it anyday over that killer non-stop heatwave in Europe.

Great to see the player who played the best all week get the Jug .

Well done Butch

Min Woo won’t be long until he starts putting 4 rounds together in a major

Only negative ,those *smile* annoying American fans yelling out

The ole Harman Kardon. Way too good. By a mile. Played great golf.

Disappointing that nobody really put any pressure on him though. Rahm missed fairways galore. Day always seemed to be chipping off the green and couldn't make a birdie putt to save himself. Rory was ok but again, too many missed fairways to challenge. And Young, Fleetwood and Hovland were just terrible. Straka and Kim played well but were obviously too far back.

On the whole, Harman was outstanding, a few were solid, but really it was pretty poor golf I thought this week from the vast majority. Missed fairways and greens like I've never seen in a major. Even the commentators mentioned on the first day that they thought the scoring was pretty poor. Plus, the 1st tee. FMD....I reckon 50% of shots I saw off the 1st missed the fairway. Again, the commentators mentioned that as well yesterday. Some of the top order today were missing greens from 120 yards out. That's rubbish, especially with many greens being so big.

Are the best in the world perhaps the poorest performing bunch we've seen in a while ? Snuffler is number 1 putting like a B grader. Rahm has been out of form for months. You never really know what you're gonna get from Rory. Thomas has gone into meltdown mode. Morikawa has been rubbish since his BO win 2 years ago. Cantlay is the 4th best player in the world ? Really ?

I've never seen so many players having that many long puts for birdies. Not going to get close to the pin when playing approach shots out of the rough though.
I'm kicking myself I didn't put Harman in, he's an accurate driver and good putter, and I've had him in my squads before.

Half these guys couldn't even hit irons off some of the short par 4's and hit the fairway. On the 4th today, Hovland missed the green by a mile from 120 yards out. Young missed it by a mile from 145 yards out. That's just *smile*.

His putting was phenomonal. I don't think he missed a putt inside 7 foot. He was 47 of 47 early in the last round anyway.

And 106 putts in total. The lowest at a BO for a couple of decades apparently.

He's done it !!! Yesssir !!!

I am pleased to announce that with a final four round total of -8, angle ankle cabrera is not just the 2023 PRE British Open Champion and Champion Golfer of the Year, but he is also the first PRE'ender to go back to back in PRE Major Championships. Well done angle ankle.

In recognition of this amazing achievement by the swarthy Argentinian, Drofder Enterprises - our wonderful sponsor - will be sending a limited edition EggTimer DRF to aa, specially engraved with a picture of Diego Maradona on the back. Again, congratulations angle ankle cabrera.

aa got a bit stumbly towards the end so Tigerman really pushed him and finishes a close second place overall at -5. Well done tigerman. For that you get a pair of the famous Drofder 5000's. Wear them with pride.

A tough final round of scoring. But TigerForce came home with the best of the day at +1 after the much maligned (by him) Scottie Snuffler shot a -4 in heavy conditions. That got TigerForce up into 4th place......one behind BT Tiger who finished 3rd overall at -1. Well done lads.

At the other end of the scale it'll be a long time before Moops picks JT again I think.

Well done to everyone for competing. Again, congratulations to angle ankle cabrera for winning and going back to back and being a 2 x PRE Major Winner.

See you next year at Augusta for the 2024 battle for the Red Jacket.

Foooooore !

Bloody hell. Shuffles improved but why did Rahm drop 7 shots!! I could've won this!!! Bradley, Gooch and Els delisted.

Well done to angle ankle (weird name) for winning B2B. Well done Drof for the comp.

Well done AA enjoy the non-alcoholic champers. Good job Red. Pity that's it for 2023.

That 18th hole was a doozy for my team, first the wug shoots 9 and last night Slammin Sami Valimaki has a 9 (went 6 over his last 2 holes). And 18 is a bloody birdie hole.

Coulda shoulda woulda.
