Didn’t even make the 1st tee. Can’t count. Sort of guy you have to check the scorecard of closely. What happened to Mr B’s team Red?
Disqualified?
oh for the open camera work late 70s early 80s.These ******* commentators are the pits, the camera work is no better.
I noticed that, thought there might be a bit of a brotherhood considering they both LIV players. I guess it shows LIV or no LIV, Read will always be a runt.No shaking hands between Smith and Reed.
Did you see J Day's drive on one yesterday? A beautiful cover drive for fore, his 2nd on 5 was much better. I was surprised that he had such a good round. His short game is still very good, up there with Smith, that's what saved him.Never seen so many missed fairways and greens. Both are huge. Poor.
I’ve lost count off how many drives I’ve seen miss the fairway off the 1st. I’ve seen them on the 18th and 2nd fairways they’ve been that wide. All over the place. Incredible.Did you see J Day's drive on one yesterday? A beautiful cover drive for fore, his 2nd on 5 was much better. I was surprised that he had such a good round. Depressing weather for a summer, but I'd take it anyday over that killer non-stop heatwave in Europe.Hah hah hah… how bad are British Summers sometimes. Beanies and heavy jackets and gloves last week. Beanies and full wet weathers this week.
I've never seen so many players having that many long puts for birdies. Not going to get close to the pin when playing approach shots out of the rough though. The ole Harman Kardon. Way too good. By a mile. Played great golf.
Disappointing that nobody really put any pressure on him though. Rahm missed fairways galore. Day always seemed to be chipping off the green and couldn't make a birdie putt to save himself. Rory was ok but again, too many missed fairways to challenge. And Young, Fleetwood and Hovland were just terrible. Straka and Kim played well but were obviously too far back.
On the whole, Harman was outstanding, a few were solid, but really it was pretty poor golf I thought this week from the vast majority. Missed fairways and greens like I've never seen in a major. Even the commentators mentioned on the first day that they thought the scoring was pretty poor. Plus, the 1st tee. FMD....I reckon 50% of shots I saw off the 1st missed the fairway. Again, the commentators mentioned that as well yesterday. Some of the top order today were missing greens from 120 yards out. That's rubbish, especially with many greens being so big.
Are the best in the world perhaps the poorest performing bunch we've seen in a while ? Snuffler is number 1 putting like a B grader. Rahm has been out of form for months. You never really know what you're gonna get from Rory. Thomas has gone into meltdown mode. Morikawa has been rubbish since his BO win 2 years ago. Cantlay is the 4th best player in the world ? Really ?
Half these guys couldn't even hit irons off some of the short par 4's and hit the fairway. On the 4th today, Hovland missed the green by a mile from 120 yards out. Young missed it by a mile from 145 yards out. That's just *smile*.I've never seen so many players having that many long puts for birdies. Not going to get close to the pin when playing approach shots out of the rough though.
I'm kicking myself I didn't put Harman in, he's an accurate driver and good putter, and I've had him in my squads before.
His putting was phenomonal. I don't think he missed a putt inside 7 foot. He was 47 of 47 early in the last round anyway.I've never seen so many players having that many long puts for birdies. Not going to get close to the pin when playing approach shots out of the rough though.

Well, he putts with a UFO on the end of his putter shaft so maybe that's the answer. His putting was phenomonal. I don't think he missed a putt inside 7 foot. He was 47 of 47 early in the last round anyway.
