Jeez Clark has had some luck with his misses. Poor second on 17 that got lucky. And he's carved the drive on 18 but still on fairway.

He's made some critical saves that Rory & Shuffler couldn't.

Rory will be cursing some of his putting misses.

How many times we gonna hear about Clark's mum. The yanks just can't help pouring on the schmaltz

Gutsy stuff from Clark. He’s been too good this week. Solid from Rory but couldn’t make any putts from a distance. Snuffler and Rickie and a few others were disappointing.

Bloody hell at least let Fowler go first and shake his hand.

That was an awesome 60 foot putt on 18 from Clark. Gutsy pressure putt to get it to tap in length.

Yeh, he made some enormously gutsy up and downs too. As you say he deserved to win because he made the shots he had to at critical times.

Can't imagine the pressure he was feeling on that back 9.

Those pars on 9 and 11 were just immense. The bogey on 8 as well. Today played a bit more like a US Open. Much tougher.

Jeez he speaks well. And has no coach. Says if he starts hitting it right on the course he hits big hooks on the range to get back to square. And vice versa. I'm gonna try it.

Well, the prestigious 2023 PRE US Open is run and won and the winner is…..angle ankle !!!

The swarthy Argentinian was too good. Once he got a lead in the 2nd round nobody could run him down despite a couple with a chance going into the final round. He shoots -2 in the final round whilst the hopefuls, Moops and Tiger Force go backwards with +12 and +4 respectively. A final round meltdown I'm afraid Moops. Starting to look like Colin Montgomerie - best player to never win a major ? Oh well, still the BO to go this year. The only other 4th round under par score was Mr Burnside with -4.

With that, Mr Burnside finishes second, largely due to the cheat Harris English being subbed into his team at the last minute in place of Varner III. Makes sense given Burnside cheated to win his club's B grade championship by using a cart. Harris Burnside. Far out.

TigerForce hangs onto third place after a big opening round that he couldn't sustain. Moops drops back to fourth. Tigerman climbs a spot to get into 5th. Leonardo drops a couple of spots.

The final round average was 71.6 (72) which when 2 strokes is added = 74 and therefore, a +4 score being allocated for those players that missed the cut. (It was +4 in round 3 as well).

Anyway, well done angle ankle and welcome to the major winners circle. Onto the British Open in a few weeks at Hoylake. See you then.

Disappointing 2nd day effed me up. Scott and Homa back to the 2nds for me. Didn't know Fleetwood was that good.

Well done Drof. Are you bottoming out?....I'll have to do some homework for the Brit Open in a month's time.

PS: How/where do you get the round's average to calculate for the cut?
