Well done Tenacious.

Thanks Red, a few hiccups but nothing that can't be improved on.

Good on you Red - thanks and well done to everyone.
It was good fun.
Just a pity that Smithy couldn't keep it going - I'm sure we'd all have loved to see him bring it home.

watching a replay of the final round at Augusta.

That chip in on the 3rd of Scheffler’s was such a low percentage play.

To chip it into a bank like that, the ball really could have kicked anywhere.

That it ended up hitting the pin flush and dropping was something he couldn’t replicate given 100 other goes at it.

I reckon it really rattled Cam, he like the rest of us knows the history of Aussies, Norman in particular, of getting rolled by chip ins.

And don’t forget when Schwartzel won in 2011 against 3 contending Aussies he chipped in on the 1st for birdie and holed out on the 3rd for eagle In the final round too,

Yeah. That ball was going waaay past if it missed Don.

I reckon if Cam hit the green with his second shot though, he’d have been able to handle it better. Two putt (or maybe one) and just give a shot back. No big deal.

But his second shot was a shocker and he knew after Slow Poke Rodriguez had holed out that he was staring a two shot swing in the face which is what happened obviously, and yeah, would have had an impact.

Cam’s second shot was as pivotal as Slow Poke’s hole out I reckon.

Yep correct Red, his second shot was not good at all.

That would be the one shot he would like to have again, even before the tee shot on 12.

Ah well. Hope he doesnt become too fixated on the green jacket and get in his own way like many other good players have. Guys who play well at Augusta but just get in their own way a bit at the end eg Norman, McIlroy to name a couple.

Geez that putting stroke is pure.

Looks like their trying to give it to Speith

Dunno - but he got it in the end. Great bunker shot in the playoff too.

There’s no specific reason for this - but I simply can’t stand the sight of Cantlay. And I do like Speith - so I thoroughly enjoyed that.

Not taking anything away from Speith , however Varner , Van Rooyen, Lowry all had the lead and dropped shots , Straka bogied the last to miss the play off and obviously Cantlay missed a make able putt to win and then bogied

Agree - and tbh I was hoping one of Varner, Van Rooyen, or Lowry would win it - or at least make the playoff over those last couple of holes

Latest 30 for 30 doco on the Shark a good watch.

He handled his losses so much better than I could have.
