Rory McIilroy = Superstar.
Yep. His 280-yard fairway wood to seven feet for eagle at the 10th when three shots down was the shot of a champion and will go down in golf history.

He's a champion, Mickelson is a genius, and Fowler is a budding star who will surely win a major sooner than later. And Jason Day will too if he can just drop a 10-foot putt occasionally.

Another scintillating major, with the rapidly approaching dark adding to the theatre.

Tiger Who?

A golfing mate is telling me that he's heard that Australian golfer Kalem Richardson's grandfather "was an Australian Rules Footballer" and they're from Tasmania. He's asking me if he's related to Richo's family in any way. Google doesn't tell me much other than that he (Kalem) barracks for Collingwood, so I doubt it. Does anyone here know any more?

Given it's Tasmania, I dare say they're related.

Robert Allenby = conspiracy theory ? ;D

He says he has no memory of the incident but then goes on to describe a kidnapping, robbery and bashing. All pretty odd.

The 'homeless' woman gives a different story too. Strange bloke this Allenby.

I guess people lie to cover up something wrong or bad. But if he did something wrong or bad why jump out first and blurt it on Twitter first?

US reports say Allenby ran up a $4000 bill at a strip club after the dinner with friends.....the mystery deepens.

My take on it...

Bloke got p!ssed, tripped and fell, passed out, got mugged, woke up in a panic thinking as a high profile person he needss a cover story. Makes one up without thinking too hard about it, now gets caught out.

Doubt it's anything too suspicious.

Why? He should've kept it quiet from the start.

Yes with the strip club stuff coming out I think he just wanted to cover that up.
