Global Warming

Actually it’s more than $500 billion, that’s the extra that wasn’t accounted for. Albo just a little bit out with the numbers.
By about 500%. Who is doing the figures for the government? $500 billion out :rotfl1

Labor's renewables-only grid will cost at least $642 billion
, not $122bn as claimed, new report says. Aussies have criticised Labor's plan to convert Australia to mainly wind and solar power, which will cost half a trillion dollars more than what Anthony Albanese has been saying.

Note: Frontier Economics advises both sides of politics.
However the study from Frontier Economics— does not examine the Coalition’s alternative nuclear power plan. The Coalition has pledged to release costings by the end of the year.

I look forward to that costing. What was one of the estimates from a source..the CSIRO estimates $8.6 billion per reactor.
How many were suggested? 7? Round it off to 10 x $8.6billion = $86 billion, allow $100 billion for overruns.

Still have some pocket change left over from Albo’s guesstimates

Park the Nuke plants on the old coal power stations n it costs virtually nothing to hook up to the existing network. easier than running new lines everywhere n chopping the *smile* out of farmland or forests in the process.
