Game Day vs St Kilda

Didnt see the game but watched the stats. We went from 21-15 free kicks up to 21-23 down in 15 mins? Anything noticeable?

As frustrated as I am the reality is we just can't win games with the injuries we have. Take Lynch and Balta out of last week and we get spanked
Put Lynch OR Balta in this week and we flog the saints

Very brave last quarter but no key forwards was very telling.

Proud of the way they stood up at the end, showed ticker.

Put lynch in and we win that game

Out played, out pressured and out lead.

No forward line after quarter time.

Mid field went missing after after half time.

I love the The Tigers but that last 3 quarters effort was very hard to swallow/accept.

On that effort we will struggle against the Eagles next week.

Game we should never have lost

If we had a true big forward eg Lynch OR Balta maybe, but given our forward line we had very little chance and it was a 7pt loss, I though it would be 70

By the way, I hate the way you jump on our young players, whether its Ross or Dow or now Sonsie, it’s just pathetic mate, just plain pathetic.

I dont mind him getting a run, it's just that he's not a key forward at this level.

He has a bit to work with but using him as a Key Forward is not the best way to go about it.

Not much other option unfortunately.
I think Ryan would have been a better option with that extra height and have allowed Kosi to stay forward by taking 2nd ruck duties. The Aints' backline just ran it out easily all day long.
I don't think I have ever seen a less effective FL. Nothing but Shai, when he wasn't on ball, with a bit of help from MRJ. No-one else had much impact at all apart from occasional possessions that mostly were ineffective.

Disappointed with the result but thought the boys fought hard, was always going to be difficult with the injury list we have.

Go tiges

By 15 goals.

Not having any target makes such a massive difference.

The most egregious issue today was picking two 'tall' forwards who did nothing other than slow us down.

If we'd picked two extra midfielders instead, we'd have won easily.

We finished the game with both no marking targets, and no run.

Lost at selection.

Normal service reumed thats all ;)

You can *smile* your honourable losses.

We had this game and one qtr the 3rd we just coasted whilst Saints picked up the pace.

Lefau is not up to it seriously back to the reserves.
Sonsie who i like made crucial errors late in the last.
Mansell lol how many times did he just kick or handball to nowhere
Junior tried but overall was so so
Campbell who i also like made to many blunders

Kosi back to reserves does not work hard enough

Pickett omg way to many turnovers for my liking.

If we hit targets we win that game regardless of the players out. We put ourselves in a position to win but butchered the ball horrendously. Cost us the game.

The endeavour is there (except Kosi) but the composure and skill level is not. And it wasn't just young players who offended; Short and Pickett were terrible.
