North were as weak tonight as they were strong last year. Honeymoon period well and truly over for Shaw.

Highlight of the match was the return to something like our old cohesion - the instinctive handballs and tap-ons putting teammates to advantage.

Backline really solid and could barely be faulted.

Chol caused problems with his mobility and Egg was neat; good signs. Stack has as much talent as Bolton and will hopefully be getting envious.

Dusty, Jack, Lynch hopefully with plenty of improvement.

Harder games ahead - go Tigers!

PS Brayshaw was surprisingly bearable. Was much worse when we played Melbourne.
