We’re constantly being forced to kick into contested mark and pack situations.

Because we move the ball slow under this new game plan.

In professional, full-time footy, every single team trains for full-ground defensive structures that can choke a team. The only possible way forward in modern footy is to move the ball as quickly and directly as possible. Slow and controlled will always be easy to defend against.

I assume we changed game plan because we couldn’t adjust it enough this year without the right assistants?
