GAME DAY Tiges v Suns

Beaten in every stat tonight. All starts in the middle & Chol/CCJ have been beaten by a couple of ruckrovers who use their bodies. GC spreading us at every opportunity - 69 marks to halftime. Lack of effort by us plus reluctance to go one on one. We only scored out of backline turnovers.

If I was Hardwick I’d be pulling a few guys aside on their own and laying down a few truths to them. Ross would be one: career questions and he goes one handed two times in a row ? Seriously ?? Has a half to even the ledger back up.

Theres a few of those.

Chol - He has a 9cm headstart on Burgess. He's getting there 1st but doesn't even look where he has tapping, just seems happy to get his hand to it.
Houli / Cotchin / Astbury - We need to figure out whats happening long term with these guys

Pretty much everyone is so far away from their best and are so out of form.

Pickett couldn't have played any worse in the 1st quarter and a bit, I reckon any time he went near it he stuffed up.

Something has gone wrong its like weve had the plug pulled on us.

Has our attempt to try and run our way against the game style following a *smile* pre season and through the injuries killed our players physically.

I got no idea what it is but the wheels have got the wobbles and have just about fallen off.

Imagine bringing this *smile* against the top sides tonight ......Jeebus.

Where has our cohesion gone? Why are we dropping marks, fumbling ground balls? Why are our forward hand passes going to opposition players?

Where has the team gone that pressed Port and Weagles on their home dung hills?

It looks to me like there is infighting in the club and the players are not playing for the coach.

This is so very very sad!

BINGO

One thing I learned is sides play “extra” quick once they mark the ball as our one wood was slowing the kick on the mark with pressure as we set up downfield. With the new rules that’s not happening anymore but that rule did come in late for us as a club as we were still going our way which was successful.

Might be ugly this year to see out, but like 2016 we will adapt…have faith.

I think as a whole they’re worn down mentally and physically. May have pulled the wrong rein with the us against the world philosophy this season. Having a Premiership or 3 in your back pocket doesn’t leave a lot of room for motivation.

Bring in Ross when Dows hands would have been handy tonight. Pickett has to be the worst reader of a football i have ever seen. Runs under the ball every single time and the leaps to get to it but straight over his head. Club had the chance to get a mature age ruckman but decided its better to give Egg another contract for some reason and Mansell who they have decided should now not get a game. Club has lost the absolute plot atm

How *smile* simple is it to tag Miller. He has torn us a new one and will single handedly win them the game if Dimma doesn't go man on *smile* man. The zone is stuffen dead

How stubborn Dimma is will determine how long our slide will continue. If he sticks loyal to some of these players get used to being out of the 8 again. In saying that i put this straight on the coaches who have *smile* themselves and are trying to reinvent the wheel. Players are all over the place position wise and it shows. They dont have any idea what to do with the ball anymore. It was instinct before and simple. Now everytime they get it you can tell they have been told to look sidewise. I dont mind not winning all the time but my god they have destroyed this side in an instant

You think Dimma coaches the basic errors these guys are making. Does he coach them to drop uncontested marks? Or miss simple kicks? Or miss easy handballs?

You can set up a gameplan, but these simple errors are killing us. It invites pressure and leads to turnover which is killing us right now, both defensively and offensively.

They are so far out of form and you can see the confidence level is next to zero right now.
