Game Day Tiges v Port

Eddie was so busy moaning about the injustice of the free against Gray that he almost missed Pickett’s Mark. That was legitimately spectacular, but McChins deemed it to be only ‘good’, whereas an earlier regulation mark by Dixon was one of the marks of the round.

Playing Port those memories always come back. Today’s first 5 minutes I was with hands on my head lol

Bit of a wake up call game. Someone is gonna bring that intensity at us in finals because they can. Short Qs are enabling this for longer. We are either up to it or not.

If we can pinch this will be a massive win considering the players out , short turnaround etc

We are not playing great.

-Lynch down.
-Midfield slowly gaining some ascendancy.
-Some players are not up to it. It’s finals type and unfortunately they have been poor. Not going to single them but we know who they are.
—Yes Dixon mussed two sitters but that’s football.
-Umpires. What can you say ? Always against us. We get a lucky one and the commentators & the Port supporters got crazy. We get nothing.
-we are still in this game.
-got to come out in the third and try and turn the tables and it starts in the middle.

10 scoring shots from those 15 though so exposing them when we go forward. If we can control the territory a bit more and play the game a bit more in our forward half then we will win from here.

Where are the new breed of commentators? McGuire Dwayne need to be moved on. Throw BT and Bruce in too. Thank you for your service.

I've gotta ask this. What are they expecting Jack Ross to be running around at 78kg? He sure ain't gonna bury a Powell-Pepper type.
 
Few passengers need to lift Caddy,Rioli etc.Not enough pressure in our 50 from our smalls to putting heat on there defence.
 
No problem fitting our champs back into this side.
By the way, I think Eddie is losing his bearings.

Went to that game and we werre gone 10 mins in.

Been a hard game to umpire, they’re letting it go a bit and I don’t think they’re doing too bad. But as you say, the commentators would have you believe we’re getting a dream run.
 
The midfield is battling without Cotch. They are controlling the ball around the contest.
