GAME DAY Tiges V Eagles

They are missing 4 of their top 8 players (Shuey, Kelly, Rioli and McGovern) and another one (Yeo) is half fit. If we can't beat Liam Ryan and their pensioners in Nic Nat and Kennedy then we don't deserve it this year.

The best mid they have playing is Dom Sheed for stuffs sake. We have Dusty, Shai and Cotch as our starting mids. With Shedda, Graham and Lambo as back-up

We have the one commodity that really scares the Eagles, pace across the middle.

This game gets won by the team that wins the middle and moves it quickly and effectively forward.

I know people are focusing on Nicnat, but we have consistently shown the ability to win games with the opposition ruckman on top. We will go a long way to winning if we shut down Kelly IMO.

No Kelly influence, and they will really struggle to get the ball and then get if forward effectively.
I can confidently say Kelly will have zero influence. ;)

2 tiger games in 2weeks.
Weather is nice, bit cold, but ok.
Cannot see a reason why we won't win this one comfortably. Played here last week, Bombers gave us heaps, our game suits the ground.

enjoy HR!!!

Some big outs but Prestia, Nank and Lynch aren't chumps. Dave either.

We still have Castagna.
And we know who much he loves playing at Optus Stadium.
15 possessions
17 scoring involvements
12 tackles
3.1

The tweak in game style the last couple of games has resulted in less stoppages. Without Nank we need to have as few stoppages as we can, because Nic Nac will be too good for Mabs and CJ.
Reduce the stoppages like we have the last couple of weeks and breakeven in centre clearances and we can win.

Tigers by 17 points.

Nervous about this one. See it as a 50/50 as we rarely beat them over there.

We won't win the flag unless our younger players stand up, and they get a good opportunity to do it here.

2013 & 14.

The memory of 2018 is strong. We were travelling pretty well and they outplayed us with scintillating football.
My memory of 2018 is scores were level at half-time- us 6.8, them 7.2. We should have been in front by a goal or 3.

They did play well after half time but from memory they got 14 frees to 2 or something like that (21-10 for the game) and I nearly smashed the telly - which the Northcote Social Club licensee would not have appreciated.

I'm now nervous because we have two of the same three umpires today.

They smashed us in the first quarter and after half time, so three out of four quarters. Blokes like Gaff were taking contested marks, they were flicking 50m passes around the park as easy as handballs. They also looked incredibly fast. It was a complete performance and I remember thinking we'd need to play them at the MCG in the finals.

He played his 1 good game in 8 last week Zips. I'm expecting a shocker which is standard!

Seasoning and potentially dynasty defining game. Need to win and should win and start our March to top 4 and 3peat
