Game day Tigers V The World

Funny listening to those calls. The absolute hate for the tigers is right there for all to see. I've rarely heard such an immediate backlash to a decsion.

Amazingly Cameron Ling (in a battle with Darcy & Bartel for most boring commentator ever) says the AFL needs to clarify what a push out is!! Hawkins would have 300 less goals if they outlwaed the "push out".

Tigers get the rub of the green and its mass outrage.

I wish there was was such a clamour when the ARC farce occurred.

Why aren't they mentioning Hawkins "pushing out" Balta in the first?

Both Hawkins and Dusty had their hands around the left upper arm/shoulder area of their opponent

Two very similar contests, two major differences.
1. Balta didn't take a massive dive
2. Media outrage against Richmond.

Commentary
Hawkins "Got his man under the footy"
O'Connor "Was he shoved in the back? No! hahaha"

Geelong whinging about a push in the back by a forward marking the ball: Priceless.

FFS Hawkins has made a career out of it.

Might do something I haven’t done in years and catch 360 :ROFLMAO:
So, I decided I had better things to do, like go to the loo, and skipped the show. Was wondering if anyone did watch it and if it went along the lines of the first 20 minutes discussing how it should have been a free against Dusty, followed by the next 20 minutes about all the injuries the handbaggers had and the finally how the pies are raging hot flag favourites?

what all the one eye tigers here have neglected to highlight

That non free cost the poor victimised Cats the game
with that much time left they were clearly going to win

clearly cheating on the part of the umpires

Hope Mark O'Connor does not visit a "dive bar" after the loss. :giggle:

Dion has played approximately 100 games for Richmond.
That equates to approximately five seasons, allowing for injury.
Three premierships in five years is a tremendous strike rate, shows how pivotal that he is.
Dion brings out the best in others.
This is a constant refrain by Dimma.

The stupid thing about O'Connor is how poorly he judged the ball in flight. He was in front of dusty and in prime position to protect the drop zone. He wanders too far forward and to the right of where the ball is going to land. He should have been, and subsequently was punished, for such poor judgement.

Saw the start of it, and Dusty was Slobbo’s Monday hero. Mince said Cox was his and I mentally checked out at that point.

Yeah he can't say anything nice about us. It was pretty clear we were the better team on Friday and instead of being a good sportsman, instead of acknowledging that and saying "they were better tonight" and then lead into a positive like Dimma does about having to learn from this and get better, Scotty was all about, what they had done wrong, and poor them having a "young" team etc.
To be fair it’s not just us. Most coaches say good things about other teams and acknowledge their opponents in pressers but neither Scott does or if they do it is rare.
I have said before that I think Dimma does it too much but the Scotts are the Serena Williams of AFL footy. They never lose because their opponent was just better, there is always another reason.
