I think the younger Daicos looks good. The Browns are both massively overrated. Kmart Dusty is massively overrated. We forced him to have more midfield time yesterday because every time he went forward, Grimes was already running the bath for him and telling him to jump in.

I think the younger Daicos looks good. The Browns are both massively overrated. Kmart Dusty is massively overrated. We forced him to have more midfield time yesterday because every time he went forward, Grimes was already running the bath for him and telling him to jump in.
I hate us coughing up the late in quarter goal as much as anyone. And the thread mentioned it a few times yesterday. Just looked at the AFL timeline worm for all our games. We kicked the last goal in 17 of 32 quarters so far this year. Note sometimes the last goal can be up to 8 minutes before the siren so they aren't all last gasp scores. So I think it's more of a loss aversion mindset .. we assign more pain to a late goal against than gain for a late goal for.

Have this long standing tradition with my two buddies One Tiger and one PIe.
We always attend this game (unless Covid puts a stop to it for 2 years).
There's rules in place.
You can't leave in the 3rd Quarter if your team is getting smashed.
You CAN leave 90 minutes after the game and having bought the Winner the first drink.
Well the first one after the Match finishes anyway. Then proper shouts.
We started imbibing at about 1.15pm
You've got to cop the Theme song and the Winner hugging and headlocking the crap out of you.
(The Pies bloke is about 6ft 6 and I am a short arse so never fun!)
So in recent years these games have been great fun for my Tiger buddy and me.
Ended up getting in a taxi at 6-10pm to head home.
Totally pissed and totally content with the world.

No, actually a compliment, ill explain it like this...They are still on their early first dates, inexperienced in their relationship, still finding their way, understanding the game plan etc.
We are married with kids, meaning our list has been built over several years with more experienced players who have 100% knowledge of the game plan = we are contending for and winning flags.
