GAME DAY SEMI THREAD - Tiger vs Saints

Thought we were patchy, scoreboard flattered us.

Thought we should have been another three goals up at half time.

Thought we got crucified by the umpires with interpretations.

Thought Port wouldn’t be too nervous after tonight.

Thought that going in as an under dog next week suits us.

Thought too much.

The arrow is going in the right direction but we are still not ‘on’. A few too many not performing as well as they should. I hope we sort it out!!

Impressive to get to prelim after being stuck in a hub most of the year. Not playing our best but given ourselves a crack at back to back and 3 in 4.
I never lost faith last year but after one win for four, and 3.5 shoddy performances, I wrote the year off. Straight after that we lost Prestia, Cotchin and Nank to injury and Edwards/Houli to family duties while shipping off interstate with reluctant players. And lost the best defender of the modern era in the pre-season.

Been a tough year for all the clubs but I keep reading that Richmond has had a lot of favours. It's *smile*.

Got the early lead and controlled the game for three quarters. Solid performance if not pretty. Happy with that but need to improve to get the win next week. No change unless due to injury

Don't think I've ever seen a team that's won the last 2 out of 3 premierships so disrespected by media and opposition coaches. Ratten has pretty much blamed everything under the sun for losing this but struggled to mention that we are a good side. Yet Dimma comes out every week and praises the opposition win, lose or draw. Over it

Dimma said he likes the way Pickett goes about it, plays hard and tough and the saints had some tough boys so Pickett did his job. Sounds like he'll be in the team v. Port.

Disgraceful commentators failed to recognise Chimp's record breaking captaincy games played. Pretty sure nothing was said about Dimma's games coached record at the club as well

Anyone worried about Cotchin's "tackle" that went way too high?

Twilight games in QLD become more dewy on ground and as the evening progresses and teams struggle to be clean.

Is the GF a twilight or night game?

Might need some resin to get the ball to stick if we make the GF.

Grand Final is going to be a very fumbly stumbly affair with pressure.

Another fortnite away with the dewy conditions.

Good bloke Ratten, and has had a hard run of it.

I woudnt begrudge him having success with the Saints when the Tigers are done at the top.
Top bloke one of the most down to earth and loved how he got another chance coaching his time at hawks valuable experience.

Tabloid weasel coming after us as usual on ch7. I see incidents like this happen every week with no comment.
