Post bye curse strikes again. Not our night. Was always going to extremely tough this one. Just fight it out and hope for no more injuries or heaven forbid, suspensions.

Well he did do an incredible kick out on the full. Plus a couple of pathetic one handed marking attempts. Jack didn't do much but he didn't do that.

Samson needs to harden up.

I’m not going to give an ‘out’ to the players but when I heard that Dusty was a late withdrawal I wanted to post that this could have an eerie ring to it.

The ‘flu’ swept through the club prior to our PF against the Pies in 18, with Dusty and quite a few ‘lethargic’ , no ‘energy’.

The club won’t come out and say anything, but tonight what I’m seeing is ‘lethargy’ amongst not just a few , but so many of the players tonight.

Especially the midfield.

The Lions being ‘lippy’ towards our players and trying to milk 50’s from the umpire when they are the ones not giving the ball back to ‘themselves’. Poor habit to be developing but I’ve seen enough in the first half that it is a ‘tactic’.

There is a dislike I have towards them more now.

I get take it from a side that has won a recent premiership or multiple ones, but not from this side.

They have achieved 0 . Nothing. Failed.

Hopefully there are some crook guys - but losing Dusty and Meatball out of the guts and a raw Hopper dpesnt help up there. Killed out of the middle.

FWIW - I reckon if it came from a side having won a recent Flag it would be even worse......Ive long hated these 'smug Paddle Pop bastards for the reasons described above.

They will never win a flag at the MCG under old man Coach.

Why?

Because he ALLOWS this behaviour to go on, probably even encourages it.

The fish rots at the head.

He reminds me of talented juniors whom always required attention from someone, anyone when ever they went near the ball….you know the kid who needed the magic freeze spray after every contest he was involved in.

Like any of us, he has mouths to feed and bills to pay.
