Wow, what more can you say, what a f***ing amazing game. Hard to watch as a supporter though, must have been great for the neutrals.
Got to the ground early, so lucky with tickets this year - second back row in the heavens last year, 5th row at ground level this year. Great spot to watch from.
Geez Geelong were playing well in the first half, that second quarter. I didn't think we were off so much as they were ON in a bloody big way.
The way Geelong set up to stop our running game was impressive. I haven't seen it shut down like that when were actually playing ok before. They were forcing our crap entries inside 50, stopping our chains of possession. I looked at the stats and they had more handpasses than us. I can see how they limit opposition scoring playing like that, it was very well done.
I thought we were in big trouble after Chamberlain scored for Geelong just before half time. That was not a free at all, complete rubbish. Confusion over who was getting the free and they got 50. If they are going to pay 50 for crap like that there were plenty of others they could have paid. The inconsistent maggots didn't of course. The maggots are too involved and have too much influence. If Chamberlain gets picked for the Grand Final it will be a travesty. Dangerfield should get cited for diving, he won't of course.
But for Richmond the best thing to come out of this is that we still prevailed. They stuck to the system, they lifted and we won. Graham playing after dislocating his shoulder, wow, just wow, hero. Dusty clearly proppy from about half way through the first quarter but still contributed well. Cotchin had a bang to the legs and still contributed. Prestia, Lynch, Houli just vital. Castagna kicking goals, invaluable. Missed plenty of others but a great come back win. Tough game though and a few bashed up bodies after that one - hopefully the other Prelim will be just as tough.
We're into the big one, let's enjoy the ride.

PS: Richmond supporters chanting about Collingwood after the game? Really? That lot just make stuff up. All I saw were Richmond supporters reveling in a great win.
