GAME DAY – R14 Tiges v Blues

Way Way to many ................. needs more composure in his game, seems to panic under perceived pressure far too often.
The games when Jayden dominated through the middle he was hitting up a lot of shorter kicks.

His long kicking is often just blind dump kicks around corners or misdirected bombs that often end up in the hands of the Opposition.

51 K crowd well done to the Tiger Army and to Blues Fans who made the effort to turn up in such *smile* conditions.

Having said that Short had 25 touches with 989metres gained. Kinda makes this stat a little useless if a high proportion of his disposals result directly in turnovers.

We’re winning ugly but we’re winning. Showed a lot of heart to fight back in second half of Q4 & were dominating again by the end. Balta a loss & still not convinced he doesn’t belong down back when he does come back.

2nd ruck an issue & no surprise Carlton’s score in the last came when Jack went in there. The positive is that we can get better - especially ball movement inside 50 & finishing. There’s spots up for grabs still. Small forward role especially plus we still need one more midfield option.

Man bummer with Balta :(
But the longer break should help us for the game against the Kittle Litters ..
Man love to beat them ..my Cats loving cousin is a pain in the backside when it comes to the footy and the Cats .. atm its all about how our young players are crap and of course .. the Cats are an old team and there young players are so much better than ours

MJR gave us the spark we needed tackling and harassment.
Balta forward is not making us a better side it's been proven this season.
Edwards is not playing his part legend or no legend can't gift games.
Was disappointed at our senior group at time a few didn't stand up poor errors to.
Got to cut out fade outs and lapses will cost us some brain fades and dumb footy no composure.
Tarrant for me is a liability and only played on match ups that suit hi

The rain in the first half helped us immensely Carlton are not a wet weather side.
They aren't much chop. But they are similar to Collingwood they seem to match up against us.
Even in there shiit yrs they would be hard to shake.
I'm happy we won

Told my mate the Carlscum supporter after the Rd1 loss - it wil be interesting to see how the Tankers stand up after they cop some injuries come middle of the year.

Well I'm watching closely after copping some injuries and losing their last 2 games.

May they cop some more.

VERMIN.

These garbage forward 50 entries and shoddy conversion are killing me.

We are seriously missing the Magic and Imperiousness of pre 22 Tiger King and the old Shedda and Lambo.

Critical win for this season.

Most importantly that's 2 losses from their last 3 games to the Blues.

Well done Tigers.
Yeh, Sheds and Lambert are half a yard off with pace and just off with touch. They know where to go and what to do but the excution is off. Hopefully they can find something, been great warriors.
