Second half was all about centre clearance to me. Nankervis being back was vital but aggression at the contest was noticeable. This has to be our focus going forward. No surprise we scored far more fluently after half time.
Was it ? looked like Jack Ross to me, some one else said Shorty ???................ we were all on edge at that point I think, my mistake, sorry Jack Ross, if that's the case.
Credit where it’s due to - Lambert was superb, Rioli best game since 2017, Ross best game since debut, plus battlers like Mansell & Garthwaite competed better after halftime.
Take the win, tremendous effort taking into account the week the teams have had to put up with, but its only just that, not getting carried away whatsoever and to still play Finals to me is a long wayyyyy off at this point.
Daisy Pearce making Taylor and Brayshaw sound like the blithering idiots they are.
If being an AFL commentator is about correctly calling and observing the state of the game (rather than toe-ing the anti-Richmond party line) then surely that "they've had a charmed run" comment from Taylor is a sackable offence? We had more than our fair share of injuries early on in both of the last two seasons and it's been even worse this year.

No doubt but that effort tonight and the way we played our game is probably as close to the last 4 years that i have seen this year.
