FYI 2019 Grand Final - RFC Priority Groups/AFL Grand Final Ticketing

G'day Taz no the link has gone now that my seat allocation has disappeared. If you're seat allocation is showing in Ticketek order history it should also show you a tab that shows the location of the seat.

There is a generic venue map on the order history page but it doesn't show specific seats; just sections. There is also MCG find my seat link below. However I can't get that to work at the moment.

cheers mate

Just remember RFC introduced a new Premium Membership this year (hence why 3121 and Premiership Circle had to move)

I wonder how many of these there were ?

Absolute ****** bull **** it is Mack, I hate sounding like a big sook but fairs fair, we’ve paid and earnt the right to have “decent” seats, I’ll say it again how can a priority 1 member get a seats on level 4, level 4 shouldn’t be an option for the first 10k members
I agree, Mr B. I'm cat 1 and got L4 in 2017, was still good though.

I wanna give Tickettek a big plug for once. I didn’t have enough money in my account and they rang me to give me chance

Platinum, priority 2 here. Looks like I have standing room judging by the $155 pending on my credit card.

How many do they put in the standing room areas? eg 4 deep, or 20 deep?

Wow that is very interesting. In 2017 we couldnt pick the tickets up from the Tuesday (if someone can confirm that ?) As we got the emails on Monday.

I suspect that it just takes Ticketek a long time to email people that there are tickets ready to be collected.

If your card has been charged, go and see if you can collect.

So I take it there's no chance of priority 3 gold members getting a ticket....

Pretty sure there are 5,000 standing room tickets. A few with seats will elect to stand rather than sit up in the nosebleeds. It'll be full but not unbearably full.

It's not like the old days. In 1980 I got there at 10:30 with the old man and could only get a partly-obscured vantage point (I was 12yo). In 2017 I was there a little earlier and there would've only been half a dozen of us in the standing bay for the next two hours.

Still, you should probably prepare for a reasonably long day on your feet if you want to get a spot of your choice.

Smooth sailing for AFL section today... 2 devices both in before 11am . Seat allocated 11.01
Virtually same seat as I had in 17.... Front row level 2a on the wing... good omen #gotiges

I got my tickets in AFL reserve. I didn’t choose my normal method of ticket delivery (ezy ticket print at home ) but somehow managed to chose “venue/prepaid collection outlet”. Does anyone know if I can change method of delivery using my order number, alternatively where would collection point be (could I just go to Ticketek outlet (I’m in the Latrobe Valley area) and get some tix printed before the game. Any help greatly appreciated.

You can only pick up GF tix, there is no other option. I think they have a location link on website.

Yeah I reckon if you haven't heard anything by now then bad luck. Deductions off credit cards would have been completed yesterday. I'm gold member and priority 3 in ballot and missed again like in 2017. It was always going to be a long shot with only 17k allocated to each club. Look how many members we have.

I guess, although seems like a bit of a rort to slug us 5 bucks for the ballot if there is almost zero chance of us getting a ticket.

Oh well, telly it is.

It my understanding you must collect GF tickets in person. No print at home.

I haven't had a creditcard deduction but had tickets assigned in the Ticketek website yesterday. Though it's an overseas creditcard so it might be different

Pretty sure that's standard practice for the GF.... this is the first year I've done them online and I'm thinking we have to collect them from an agency. You need to have the credit card used for purchase and photo ID.
