Beginning to think Brayshaw is losing it.

First there was the fact a Richmond coaching appointment was basically brushed over on the show (that cannot be just a coincidence, even if he didn't go on there would normally be some chatter).

My two favorite bits were this:

1) They announced Brad Scott's appointment before the deal was actually done. Even in my schmucky job the norm is until the contract is signed no deal is done (been there before - verbal agreement but failure to commit to contract).

2) The final bit - I won't comment because his words sum this up better than I can:

Someone said to me about the president 'if you blokes did all that work for a hospital, you would be put up for a Queen's Birthday honour . . . instead of that, you have a target on your head'.

Can't work out why did they rushed the announcement when they were going with Scott. He wasn't in contention for any other gigs.

Forgetting the Hardwick stuff/Or lack of it... I do find this extremely interesting though. Clearly the Dogs rate Leon VERY highly.


I would love for Hardwick to poach him at some point and bring him across as an assistant.

They also rated Waynce Campbell very highly .
Lets see if we can swap them.

North didn't rate DH as a coach
Years ago, North de-listed DH so didn't rate him as a player.
I think DH has no love of North and JB knows this. So no FS interview.

LMAO at Hutchy and Sam nailing Brayshaw over the dispute with Rock. One gets the feeling they really love getting him over North issues cause they know he hates anyone questioning North. Rock has been sacked but hasn't been paid out what his contact states, all Brayshaw could say was they love him at North and he'll be looked after. He wouldn't actually guarantee that Rock would be paid under the terms of his contract despite Sam's hectoring. Brayshaw will no doubt try to sweep it under the carpet.

What has happened at the Hawks - I thought they rarely took recycled's and now every targetted player is linked to them. Have they had a philosophy change - I hope so because they will be rubbish again next year if they target players like Gibson and Rance.

Hawks lack key backs so they are in the market for a ready made... Thier list is young so they can afford to trade picks this year. Want to keep Rance, would rather trade Moore or the other guy with the skinny legs.. Thier 1st pick is on the table but they would not trade that for any of those players, only Lake I would suggest. How about Moore for Thorpe?

Agree on Brayshaw, very nauseating.

Hawthorn's been in the market for a key back the last few years since they were trying to woo Thornton, as was proven this year they don't have much depth there.

Just like with Thornton they will atempt to rip a club off in search for that Key Defender.
