To be fair both 360 & OTC were great viewing. it's pretty much 2 hrs of Tiger chat
A lot of talk about the Tigers. Some about Ablett. Best part was the interview with Dimma. They asked him a lot of questions and he gave some detailed answers. Was interesting especially in the winning glow I had.
Surely that wouldn't be the Murdoch media you are talking about?Two weeks ago the tiges were undisciplined, dirty, bad culture etc.
Now these so-called experts are tripping over themselves to see who can be the most grovelling, fawning sycophant.

Actually I'd describe it as almost universal. The 9 owned papers are as bad as the Murdoch owned ones. The turnaround in The Guardian's "reporting" is also particularly marked.

Most infuriating part of this season finishing now is that the media flogs have conveniently been able to by pass covering our great deed and victory and go straight into Trade week thus no humble pie or back peddling.
Its gone nigh on uncovered compared to other seasons.
Such a shame that our best flag win of the 3 is also the most un respected.

I disagree. Most of the media I've heard since the win have declared this to be our best Grand Final. The hardest one to win against the toughest conditions, toughest opponent and the toughest match. the 51pt turn around is often mentioned as is the word "Dynasty".
They may not be eating humble pie, but they are certainly giving this GF the respect it deserves.
I don’t like most of the media most of the time, but I watched 360 and OTC last night. Both shows and their hosts were extremely respectful of us and our achievement, and mostly focused on the GF. Lyon admitted he’d got it pretty wrong. Riewoldt was smug about being right, but didn’t rub it in. Healy was respectful, but never apologised for anything and Brown was as always dumb and inarticulate, I doubt if he even remembers anything he said prior to the game, including who he actually tipped.

Sorry Leon but it's the Age as well ... half of Nialls Gf preview was about our bad behaviour. And I have read the Age every day since I was 10 but it's a shadow of its former self. Cannoit blame Murdoch for that...once the Internet arrived it started losing its classified revenue lifeblood. Even crusading journalists like to get paid. But it us a shame but what is the alternative...government subsidies?
