Actually I don't hate the Saints, but Higgins has turned me off them a bit.

One of my Grandsons barracks for them, as does a very good mate of mine. He's seen them play in 4 Grannies & only win 1. Says it all really "perennial losers."

I'd be ok if they won, but like tigertim says they won't do it this year.

Yeah, I don’t mind them. Mother in law a big Saints fan. Her father played a handful of games for them in the late 1940s. She remembers clearly 1966 as a Primary school aged kid. Perennial losers ever since.

Here in TAS Saints have always had a disproportionate following compared to what they seem to have in VIC. Much legacy and cultural attachment from the Daryl Baldock years.
