Errr the Narcs have'nt won a final since 2004. Nearly 20 yrs.

But at least this generation of Tiger fans has three cups to look back on fondly and reminisce about. Only thing the young Bombres have got to reminisce about is their drugs scandal, getting kicked out of finals n handing back the Brownlow.
now that the inevitable end of season - "oh we only just realised that we overrated Essendon" time is upon us, I appreciate the content/links posters are posting to remind us how quick the media is to gush over this rabble of a club with one of the worst cultures going around. Great consolation for our poor season (plus Geelong, thank you God).
I couldn't believe after the Bombers beat an underwhelming Adelaide the ridiculous over-reaction of so many including their useless captain earlier this year. Gold!
"It was an extremely powerful first half the way we played," Merrett said.
"There's certainly been areas of our game ... that we haven't been up to scratch with, even though we've been winning a few games.
"Our defence and our ability to play, on our terms, was probably the best I've ever seen.
"You could feel the energy in the stadium, with all our fans getting right behind the way we were playing.
"Out there watching all the teammates – it felt like there was 15 or 16 guys playing their best footy at once – was extremely powerful."

I just looked at the ladder , absolutely shocked, shocked I say …….Essendon are not going to play finals , woweee bet nobody saw that coming .
