No not at all. This is called accountability. This is what his big man mates should have done to him rather than playing the stupid laugh at eddie regardless of what he says.
I don't necessarily take the bullying options you presented either as in my opinion from what i have read and heard Caroline is not a victim. Yes she's disappointed in being dragged in to this mess but she has not been disempowered by his comment rather she has acted in a more stoic manner when reacting to it.
In fact this realy isnt about PC at all this is just a bloke who is what he is because of this type of behaviour probably. This sort of behaviour is used by people with insecurities generally. I would not be surprised if eddie has a mental issue like his mate gary because finally the rest of the world is prepared to say no to them and they dont know what they need to do to change. We are in a good place but this isnt political correctness.

Without condoning Eddie's comments, you don't have to dig very hard to find Wilson utilises a personal confrontation style which has hidden behind the general courtesy her gender affords her. If she had been a man she would have been tirn down in public directly long before now as males do to one another. Go and look at her history reporting Tim Watson, Rkss Ltin, James Brayshaw to name a few. She is a bully. She has not attracted these comments because she is female but because of her style of reporting. But Eddie made a mistake.

Wilson regularly gets personal in her 'reporting' driving her agendas as fact. You don't need to use swear words or death threats to bully people. She's not alone in this but she's not Mother Therasa either.
