Early Openers- Prelim Finals

During the Port game I was saying Keefe and RiccardI were the Giants weak links. Both proved it tonight. They aren’t expected to be stars but they stuffed everything they touched.
The Melbourne bloke burnt his team mates.
Who was the bloke that ran down the boundary and kicked it on the full? With Greene and Hogan all by themselves.
Gws lost the game in the 3rd. All they had to do was stay with them. But a 5 to 1 qtr won Collingwood the game and 3 of those goals were all GWS mistakes.
Bedford goes from a Checkside running in from 39 out misses, from the kick in Collingwood kick a goal.
Brown on the wing short steps the contest, turn over Goal to Collingwood and then the dud Keefe goes for a snap once again with team mates from 10 metres away.
Collingwood for the last 3 minutes kept on holding onto the ball and forcing ball ups
Isn't the umipre meant to ping them for first diving onto the ball and secondly not attempting to get rid if the ball??
I knew they would get up, even when GWS were 3 goals up. They shouldve been 5 goals up at Half time

There seems to be a stench of inevitability about Collonwood winning the GF this year.

It’s unreal how they just keep finding ways whether it be the bounce of the ball or their players bobbing up at the just the right time.

However whatever happens this year you would think that they will have to get their draft tap dancing shoes on pretty quickly going forward given the following group:

Mitchell 30, Pendleberry 35, Elliot 31, Adams 30, Frontbottom 32, Hoskin-Hyphonface 30, Howe 33, Mihocek 30, Cox 32

May the cliff come quickly.

Didn’t see any of the game, however just caught the after game interviews with Moore and Maynard , impressive fellas , they bring up the point about playing for that huge crowd, why would anyone not to play for one of the big 2 teams .

The one is the last.
Bounced on the line , then went in the field of play, then a late call to decide if it was OOB.

Comedy.
If you're talking about the decision to ball it up on the member's wing, the boundary umpire never blew his whistle. It was the field umpire's mistake in paying "insufficient intent" without the ball actually going out.

David it’s the one that both field umpire & boundary umpire ( don’t know who stopped the play and can’t remember who ( team ) had possession , stopped play and balled it up??

Yes Members wing?

Lost count the number of times Tom Mitchell throws the ball.

Well umpired game for the most part. Aside from Toby Greene being decapitated.

I'm not on the GWS bandwagon. *smile* plastic team AFL with only a couple of thousand supporters so happy for them to lose even to the Pies.
Well umpired?

The reality is Collingwood looked the more dangerous team.

Best momentum team since us.

weird game. Giants probably should've won.
but in the end the Umpires whistles stopped working.
need to work on that.
and look into what the Pies put in their Gatorade at halftime.

The field umpire blew his whistle for "insufficient intent" as he'd assumed the ball had gone out. On TV you could see him apologise, and then balled it up. Collingwood would have been in possession if not for the whistle

Gws had 6 minutes to hit the lead and they butchered it.
Did GWS have 16 injured players? How was Keefe selected??
Kingsley and Co pissed down the drain of playing in another GF.
Riccardi should be ashamed at some of his game
