Eagles first round pick for sale??

Might be the case but last I heard they were discussing it, even if we could why would we want to trade Nahas.

agreed, no way we should trade nahas, we have been crying out for a small quick crumming live-wire who creates fwd pressure and kicks goals for years. rodan and krakour didnt work, all the good sides have one and we shouldnt be letting him go anywhere.

Sounds like they're chasing a guy just like Mitch Morton....hmmm, first rounder hey???

Love the irony in that.

Guys - seriously... In the article, Worsfold uses Nick Reiwoldt as an example of the calibre of player they're looking for.

Not bloody Rance or Nahas, or even Tambling ::)

Only way we'd have a chance is if we put up Deledio.

People throwing up the likes of Nahas, Rance, White, Cousins make me laugh. Not a hope in hell even if we offered all of them!

As TT said above.....guys you r dreaming.

You could offer a package of any three of our players, excluding lids and cotch and they would not even look at it without breaking down into fits of laughter.

Exactly

There is only 2 players on our list that would command a first round pick - Cotchin & Deledio. And one is out of contract..............Would not surprise me if West Coast go very hard to obtain Deledio's signature, especially now that Worsfold has come out and said that.

Isn't Lids signed up for next year?

I would be very surprised to see Delideo re-sign at the Tigers. He will be offered some huge money to go elsewhere and while I want him to stay it may be better for him to further his career elsewhere, he strikes me as a guy that would excel in a better team where all the focus is not on him.

Just shows how the depth of this years draft is going to be.Why didnt he offer a first rnd pick a few weeks ago when he was in the top 4 territory?

I'll be a heck of a lot more surprised if he leaves but if he does want to go 'Buckley' style then good luck to him but I expect us to be very, very well compensated for it.

Top 5 pick + 2nd round pick or top 5 pick + good young player. Nothing less. He's our best young player. I'll be shocked if he leaves though, not shocked as in didn't expect it but shocked as in "****, we just lost our best young player... time to pack it in?"

Him leaving to play finals would just defeat the purpose though as we would be looking to strike a deal with a bottom 4 team for as they have the best picks. However, I've always been a firm believer of if they want to leave then let them because if they're playing unhappy then it does the club or the player no good, probably wouldn't get the best out of him anyways.

We dont have any small nippy forwards who we could trade to West Coast if thats what they're after. They are talking Rioli, Davey, Davis types. The closest we have to that is Nahas and he's not good enough yet to warrant a high draft pick (damn Krakouer why couldnt you have been a little better). So time to move off this thought and onto realities.
