Cogs and JON. Send them back to WA!

well at least be sensible about it. who could we trade to west coast that would tempt them to hand over their first round pick?

Might consider Nahas + Rance for their first pick. They need a small forward, we get to pick up Butcher and another gun such as Tapscott/Martin/Stevens.

According to junior footy thread and those who follow the youngsters, Butcher can't kick. Nahas is our biggest improver and clubs never take two players for 1.

It looks like West Coast will likely have pick #6 in the 1st round and we will probably have pick #4 (if we lose to both Hawthorn and West Coast).

If pick 6 is up for grabs I say we go for it.

It will be nice having 2 1st round picks (providing we don't waste them).

offer anyone except cotchin, deledio and vickery

tambling or foley might be worth a nibble

Even if we wanted to I don't believe we can trade Nahas as he is a rookie listed player.

Isn't there a new rule that rookies can be traded?

Might be the case but last I heard they were discussing it, even if we could why would we want to trade Nahas.

Cousins + second-rounder would be popular with a majority of Eagles fans. I wonder whether Richmond feels they have some sort of "duty of care" towards Cousins?

didn't cuz say he's happy in melbourne and wannts to continue living here after he retires?

Why on earth are people using Tambling for trade bait. Ordinary for four years, dramatic improvement in his fifth, and now we want him gone? I just dont get it.

Amazingly enough, I think the Eagles might see McMahon as having some sort of value. They lack pace, and the wide open space of Subi do suit Jordan. When he isn't under pressure, he can usually hit a target, and Subi is a ground where you can create space easily.

He wouldn't command a first round pick of course, but he could help ice a deal of some kind.
