Dylan Grimes JDM

Re: Dylan Grimes

The news is less positive for hamstrung co-captain Dylan Grimes, who was subbed out of the Tigers' loss to St Kilda and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks with a "hopefully stock-standard" injury.

“We’ll be relatively conservative with Dylan ... we’ll take our time with it, and make sure we get it right," said Hardwick.

Hope he isn’t rushed back.

Flight over to WA wouldn’t think would be ideal. Had the impression he was still possibly a few weeks away.

Selected?
But Zips said he wouldn’t be available before R12 as his hammy is shredded.
Who to believe?
Not u again little Argue.
Weren't you the one giving it to me when he wasn't meant to play against stkilda and he reinjured his hammy .
You disappeared that night. Quick smart.

Why bring him back now?
they leaked it out to the media he was meant to miss the firsr half of the year after the stkilda game.

Want us to be wrong Little Ziggy.

Every time I see going for the ball I may have to ‘look away right now if you don’t want to know the score’…

You said he was out.
You were wrong. He played.
Not sure where your confusion lies

As we know our backline is leaking too much this year.

A key reason is our champ and defensive leader has been off his tucker ILO.

He's had an interrupted year and will no doubt improve as he gets more continuity, but he's definately down, even looks a little heavy for the first time ever.

Possessions aren't everything from Grima, but the below are pretty telling:

2021 2022
Possessions 13.6 9.6
Marks 5.7 2.2
Spoils 4.5 3.2
Intercept marks 2.5 1.6

He did go off early against St Kilda, but that not withstanding he's not influencing opposition attacks like he has over his career. 2.2 marks a game is very low.

Tightening up our defence will see us challenge. Getting Grimes back to his patrolling, commanding best back there is the number 1 thing that will see that swing.

Well spotted Daisy. He looks human. Massively interrupted prep.
Hope he has a good run from here.
