Dylan Grimes JDM

FFS, Grimes was collected after he had completed the mark. Look at the Geelong player's hand, it is hooking around Grimes' upper arm and pushes him off course. I don't think it was on purpose but that is what happened.

Yes, it is an easy 50, but they do seem to be paying these of late. It is in the rules and if they consistently apply this, then we should see less late contact on a marking player which is the point of the rule.

Cornes deserves no respect and none of our attention.

In the year leading up to the departure of Port Williams scuttlebutt was that he'd lost the youngsters. Fly was running the Magoos and was a genius form day one. Williams was at least redundant.

Jackson might have handled it better. But, eh. We had better and we had to make changes.

Grimes BOG for mine.

SEN discussing Dylan Grimes.

Sam Edmunds - s he a serial stager that hasn't learnt his lesson?

Jordan Lewis - yes. Should have been cited. He's hurting his reputation.

WTF? This is borderline harassment. They should be embarrassed to talk about one of the more courageous players in the comp like this.

Dangerfield exaggerates contact in almost every contest. He throws his arms out often. Why don't they highlight this every week?

*smile* Boring Lewis. He's a *smile* prick. Brings absolutely zero insight to his role as a so called "expert".

Anyway, I'm gonna say it. That Hawthorn team he played for is one of the most overrated in the history of football. Yeah they won 3 flags in a row, but all in an era of extreme compromised drafts when they had already assembled their team prior to 2010. They did a great job assembling that team prior to that but it made it extremely difficult for other teams to catch them when they were trying to build through drafts where GC and GWS had the vast majority of top picks. Compare that to RFC under Hardwick who had to rebuild from the end of 2009; I know which feat was more impressive.

Oppo *smile* head supporters always criticise Richmond premierships by saying we beat interstate teams at the MCG. Well guess who Hawthorn beat when they won 3 in a row? Never hear about that do we.

And also, saw the true value of Lewis when he went to Melbourne. He was very ordinary there despite everyone talking up how great he was. He was no more than a good player in an overrated Hawthorn team that through the introduction of northern expansion sides got lucky. I would argue the 2008 flag was a much greater achievement and also argue that the Boring Lewis Hawthorn teams were not a patch on Brisbane 2001-3 or Hawthorn teams of the 80s.

He was a good footballer that Clarkson identified as done and dusted for the modern game. Average career at the Dees where he essentially took an opportunity from a kid.

Expert - because he wears jumpers, drinks soy lattes and wears glasses?

Why did we sack him?

I thought he was part of the clean out when we wanted to remove all the negative mindset in the footy dept and replace with a more positive attitude.

Yeah know .
He wanted that job but Sheedy got it then to the Tigers as an assistant.

Has a grudge with the Tigers & Dimma.

I mentioned it on another thread , Fox Sports love to write negative articles on us this year ,

Have seen it in other codes, its a similar theme, they work out who the public want to perceive as the villains , and they pump the stories out for click bait attention and to activate the trolls on social media

How is it staging when it was a 50m every day of the week and twice on Sunday? This is what drove me crazy about the Rance incident a couple of years ago. Yes he exaggerated contact, but it was still a free kick. How can you fine someone in that circumstance?

Agree. I'd suggest its laughable but its borderline abuse and no laughing matter.

Lewis seems that type of guy that shows up at a party and everyone else leaves.
Personality of a dead cat
