Dylan Grimes JDM

Cheering for Bachar?
I’m in ewe of you!!

Pun a bit laboured.

You could have gone with:

"Didn't you fell sheepish?

Isn't he your sacrificial lamb?

Baaahhh humbug;

That's a change for you, going from lamb to goat;

Finally someone has pulled the wool from over your eyes;"

Feel free to use them in future

:)

Yes I agree my sheep pun was a little laboured.
Like some posters critiques of Bachar.
Live and learn I say. No point in following the flock

SEN said Mitch Cleary reporting no moon boot or crutches for Grimesy at Punt Road today, just a sprained ankle and hopefully the 7 day break has him right for Brisbane.

I love Mitcham Cleary better then Blackburn Cleary

No serious damage no surgery required. Chance to play this week.

If Grimes doesn't play, Garth probably comes in and they tweak the defensive structure/system. Risk vs reward would be lower than for Balta. Depends if they feel lucky – we all know Balta has more upside, but I suspect the MC reckons it's a year early. His unpredictablity to his own team members is the biggest knock on him at present.

No way Carthwaite, rather Balta.

They would bring in whoever they thought they'd use in the Grand Final if one of our tall defenders went down.

Garth is the less riskier option. Balta would bring the potential for some x factor, but a tad riskier.

Phew! That's great news about Grimesy's ankle. What a relief. Looked so bad at the time.
He'll play if the rehab staff reckon he's fine to go, otherwise he can have a fortnight off before the first final.
The injury gods finally smile on Richmond (that is, no serious damage).

He has gone to a different level this year , not for a second suggesting we are better off without rance, but I do think Grimes individually has benefited from the extra responsibility , he is a better player because of it IMO

I can't wait for Rance, Grimes, Dave, Flossy , Bach to play together in 2020. They will be the Iron Curtain. Nothing will get through

Even if Essendon beats Collingchoke?

That's a completely different scenario DA and an interesting one you put forward there.

If we are assured 4th there might be every chance one or two could be rested.

Be interesting when the squad is named on Thursday, it might give an indication of any possible changes.

Sadly I cant see Essendrugs getting over the Maggots.

Liability Lloyd has named his top 7 defenders in the game currently playing.

Numero uno..... D. Grimes..

Still had to have Hurley 5 and Hooker 7in the mix to satisfy his bomber bias!
